Hey everyone! Noa2 was September 1st :D i am seeing people write that after you receive your case number from NVC you can schedule your interview? I thought you have to wait till the consulate sends your packet 3 and 4 and then you get the medical and then THEY schedule it for you? Very confused!!

It depends on your embassy. I know some can schedule their interview date online before receiving packet 3. But for me they schedule it for us, the date will be in packet 4. Check for your embassy specific under the embassy information tab.

I-129F sent- June 15

Lockbox received- June 16

Noa1- June 20

RFE- August 23

NOA2- September 1

NVC received- September 13

Case #- September 13

interview- October 31

POE- November 13

Married- November 23

it depends your embassy. My embassy has link that shows packet 3 and if i am not wrong we dont send packet 4. We will give the files at interview date to the embassy. I can schedule my interview when there is avalible date.

Patiently waiting for our NOA2. I have no fingernails left. We are approaching day 70. I'm trying to stay distracted but this is getting harder and harder. :/ I keep telling myself we just have someone assigned to our case that has a larger backlog of work. Any ideas for distractions?

mmm ... the same here, it's a long weekend and I can't do anything well, just thinking when they start to work to get my NOA2 also, sometimes cry, sometimes laugh about myself, my fiance apparently takes it easy, but not, I noticed he doesn't want me telling him how others are going, it makes him more frustrated and it makes me more frustrated not talking to him about visa.

Fortunately I have you, guys here

WolfiesPie, you can chat with me here, 70 days it's ouch! Specially because many got their NOA2 in 50-55 days or even less

No worries, i got mine at 70 day. So dont worry it will come. Don't be frustrated, be excited.

Don't worry, yours is coming.. we got ours at 69 days. What i did was i researched "what to do after noa2" & wrote it on my notebook step by step. Its like "To do List", so when you have everything on hand you'll be guided. Good Luck :)

I have a question,

Does anyone know how long after NOA2 that the NVC receive an approved petition ? We emailed them about 7 days after approval,yet they said they hadn't received our file.

I don't want to call or email (NVC) only to get told they haven't received petition. Waste of time in my view. Also, can a relative from the US call on behalf of us ? We don't want to get up during night time to make an international call.

Hey Sue&Moe,

We were approved on the 26th Aug as well and so we waited 4-5 days before we emailed the NVC, i didn't want to call because i heard you could be waiting on the phone for hours - which, i might say is not my favorite thing to do LOL. Moving forward, the NVC emailed us back within the last 24 hours and they said they haven't received our file yet , maybe this will help you with a time frame. I have a feeling they send a whole batch out at once from the USCIS to the NVC, again i could be speculating.

We only received our email from the USCIS today with our approval, the same saying what your letter said. i just assume that it will go to the NVC and it should be there at some stage in the next week.

Thank you! I had a lot of patience while waiting for the NOA2, but waiting for the case number is driving me crazy :(. Good luck to us and everyone else who's still waiting!

We sent the I-129 form on the end of June and hasn't get NOA1 yet.. Is anyone have opinion? My fiancé said he did everything correct and even sent the form twice. I'm very worry about it so any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you! Kiko

So, while we wait for our NOA2 we're prefiling the I-134 and we stumbled upon this:

"I have on deposit in savings banks in the United States" So what do we specify? Just the savings accounts or do we sum everything (checking account, 401k, etc)?

Waiting for our NOA2 as well we received our NOA 1 June 29th

Twice is bad, 2 application interfere with each other, maybe that's why is the delay, you even could be denied in both because of twice
