Not true.

The application can be mailed in 90-day period before September 5th. 90 days is not 3 months. So count back 90 days and that is the first day upon which you should mail the application. Even 1 day early and USCIS will return your package. The same time period holds if she then applies for citizenship.

Good luck! :)

Wrong.

ROC must be filed within the 90 days just preceding the expiration date on the 2-year Conditional Green Card.

If you file it too early, they will send your application back.

If you fail to properly file the Form I-751 (Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence) within the 90-day period before your second anniversary as a conditional resident, your conditional resident status will automatically be terminated and the USCIS will order removal proceedings against you.

I read it somewhere... I was just looking yesterday for the same situation, for myself. But as more people are saying the same thing, that means is as they say 90 days only!

Not the first time I've heard 6 months.

Makes you wonder if the backlog has gotten so bad (especially at VSC) that they're going to open the application window up earlier.
