When you say you've never heard anything, you mean no NOA1 and no bio appointment?

CSC publishes ROC applications as taking 6 months. This can take longer if they've routed your case to the local office for an interview, which I suspect they may have. You may benefit by contacting your representative or senator to look into why your case is taking so long. As your case is over the publish 6 month mark, they should be able to get a clearer picture as to what the issue is.

Another option is applying for citizenship now will force their hand in getting the ROC application completed.

You can file 90 days early for citizenship (three years legal resident while married to a citizen). It forces the hand on getting your ROC adjudicated. Also having a congressperson or senator looking into why your case is over due, tends to get your case moved to the top of the pile. If its stuck with an FBI background check, this might not have any effect, as USCIS has to wait on that being completed.

Ok msddd I appreciate your response,I'm due for citizenship July 23rd did you say I can file for my citizenship by July 23rd while waiting for my pending application?thanks again

And yes you can file, even if your ROC has not been completed.

It;s 90 days from your 3 year anniversary being a Legal Permanent resident. So when did you become a LPR in 2013?

I am in the same boat as you, they said that they are waiting for Security check so nothing more specific as an answer. I am an August 2015 filer and will be eligible for Citizenship in September of this year

@nick I don't understand why it's taking that long,I consulted and immigration lawyer yesterday because my us spouse is beginning to abuse me and she might call for divorce soon, the lawyer told me the wait period is normal,it takes longer now and they soon give me

If you're stuck in the security check, not much is going to help you. The FBI operates on its own time frame. Getting your congressperson or senator to double check you really are stuck with the security check, still isn't a bad idea. It would be an easy cop out answer for any customer service agent looking to get you off the line.
