i tried to post this with my last post to you but it wouldn't let me edit the post.

i have a ssn from a former marriage, our lease to own agreement is in my name, utility bill is in my name, we just bought a lot next door and the deed is in my name( Reason: we don't want to loose them to hubbys ex-wife ), we have a joint account which is never used ( because hubby don't like putting money in the bank ) , all vehicles are registered to my hubby and his company , there are more but all split. the only things we have in both our names is

- Joint bank account

- Tax returns

Hope all that wont be a problem

Looks like your RFE was sorted out. I remember reading about that a couple of months back in the other June Filers forum. Good luck on your upcoming interview. I'm sure you'll be fine with your evidence. All you need to do is be honest and explain to the IO why certain leases or bills are not in both names.

I had an accordion one, easier to put the docs in order, neatly, pick them up and hand them if needed

Can't remember everything and I already put everything apart. But it was something like this:

Passports/ ID/ identification documents

Birth certificates and marriage certificate

I864 and supporting docs

Bank statements and phone bills/ bills in our names and same address

Traveling together docs

Random letters with same address

Word doc printed out with evidences from date or marriage til now (it was sort of a timeline I created on word with bits and pieces of proof such as pictures, cards)

We didn't have much and the officer didn't ask to see anything other than our ID (my passport and my husbands drivers license). He started talking about having a medical, but he found my ds3025 so everything was fine

oh ok... cool.. that gives me some ideas and yes i still have to give the my I-693 at the interview also.

I still have to go back to the surgeon, hence they didn't use the form that i filled out originally for them ( first Page ) so my email address , phone number , my A#, Place of Birth, Country is not on the form they put in the sealed envelope ( i got a complete copy of it ).. i told em they need the form that i filled out but one nurse was like yeah yeah we do that all the time, we do it on the computer.. so now i gotta go back and have it completed before the interview

hi all

i went to social security office today to have my name changed on my card.... but i have to wait, hence DHS has to verify that i am legit. when i got home i got on the SAVE case status checker and it says ... returned to agency and also on the top it says case under review maximum 6 days left.... what does that mean?

also does that mean i have to wait to apply for a ID or DL at the BMV as well ?

I got my Greencard on Saturday.

I was so happy this was all finally over for at least a year and a half, but then..

The country of birth on my GC says Usa instead of Belgium (their mistake, I wrote it right on all my forms)!! So now I am stuck in this hell for a few more months...

I am guessing atm that our best option is to make an infopass appointment to get a stamp in my passport so I can keep driving and look for a job, and then send my greencard back with a I-90 form...

What do you guys suggest?

Hey, sorry to hear that they screwed up :(

I'm glad all my information is correct on the card...that would've been a pain right before I go home (which is tomorrow) :dancing:

Anyway, don't worry about it. You should get a stamp in you passport. It's the same as having a gc except it's only valid for 6 months. By that time you should have the card in your hand. Just make sure you bring the approval notice. If you want to double check with uscis you should do it, but make sure you get a competent person on the phone. Some of them just don't know what they are talking about!!

Good luck!! Hope you don't have to wait too long for a new card.

Hi guys,

I am a June filer and just found this page despite the fact that I joined VJ months ago and have been reading everything under the sun. I truly appreciate all the information and input thus far. My PD is 6/13 and I reside in CT . My interview is less than a week away and I am in such a panic. I didnt expect it to come this quick. I am paranoid that they have decided to deny me and are simply interviewing me as a formality before deportation proceedings.......its such a relief to say that ;( i want to know if others share my fear. If i said it to my husband( USC/petitioner) he would think I am crazy, he's confident all will be well.

Is anyone else here as AOS filer (B2 visa overtsay for alomst a decade) and what has your timeline been?

Again, thank you guys

Hi utterbashment,

I agree with your husband you can be confident all will be well. If they had wanted to deport you they would have done it already. And not have you come this far in the process. The interview is for many of us just so they can see you and confirm you are truly a couple. I have adjusted from B-2, did not overstay though but have read about many who have overstayed years and also were approved. You are married to a US citizen and they have his best interest in mind.

Don't let fear or panic get to you. Let your heart guide you <3

You can do it! Good luck with your interview :)
