Oh ok... the EAD approval may have gotten seperated from the AP or send out a bit later. Though I got both of them today they came in a separate envelope... so you could get the EAD tomorrow

I thought about this whole 'proof of evidence' thing a few times... what if I wanted my own bank account? The house we live in is my mother-in-laws and my husband is paying her rent. So we don't even have a lease or electricity bill All we have is a phone bill in my name and that is because I had to figure out a way how to get my DL. In the end I just renewed my old one which expired in 2009 ... realizing too late I could've done that a long time ago now I still need to change it to a NY license which I can't quite yet because I need my EAD .... and bla, bla, bla.... I think the NYS Law is the biggest pain in the rear to get a DL or any sort of ID.

Anyway, I'm not too worried about it... I'll show them whatever they want to see.

Her Green Card just arrived! Very happy, very relieved to have a break for a couple years, and very grateful to the VJ community. The guides and discussions made the whole process much easier.

I'm glad a lot of us received good news today. Stay positive though(same goes for muccapino) you might receive another update very shortly and after that the cards.

I think we should just ignore the website as good as we can for now. Even after receiving the approval by mail my status still hasn't changed. Who knows if and when it will! I'm not worried about it anymore. What I need to focus on right now is my resume...ugh, that'll definitely keep me busy for a while ?

I'm glad for all the good news too. I wonder how many of us will be left here to have the longer wait haha

I'd love another update, will just have to be patient.

It feels so much better to be waiting without worries everything in it's due time.

So.... I called customer service earlier today and basically since we had an RFiE the whole application has been reset to day one from the time they received my response. Talk about frustration in my home....... I've never felt so much pressure for anything in my life. I I feel for my wife. The look on her face just killed me inside but I am supposed to be strong for her....

this is what happened to us as well. Customer service told us exactly the same. However, we called again on Monday and spoke to another Tier 2 officer and asked her all the questions we had. She did reassure us that counting does NOT start all over again; your case is paused as long as the request for RFE has not been received. And instead of 90 days they now have 120 days to deal with your EAD and AP. This sounded more just so I chose to believe her instead :) don't worry!

It's easy to fall into despair but don't... we are here for you. I hope this helps a bit.

Ok, so I signed up at USPS.com and received a text message that something was picked up by Shipping Partner, USPS Awaiting Item INDIANAPOLIS, IN... I didn't order or expect anything. Is it possible that the combo card is on the way???

I just received my confirmation letter for the SR I filed on Monday stating that my case is currently under review.

I received the confirmation AFTER my EAD & AP approval notice.

My Ead/Ap card came in the mail today!! Yayy!! Even though my tracking info projected tues !

I just got a text from USCIS that my EAD card was delivered to me!! went to the mail box and it was there.

My status changed from new card is being produced to Card delivered to me!!!

so happy!!!

tonight after 12 I am officially at day 76 which means I can do a service request. what did you put as last progress on the case? the status your case shows? or the date of your biometrics? or the last soft touch? the biometrics and last soft touch were less than 60 days ago so I worry that I will be told it hasn't been long enough if I mention those. should I just put the received date as last update on my case?
