Was it only 3 1/2 months? I was *very* lucky. I salute everybody whose own K1 approval processes take significantly longer. You're the real troopers.

For my K1 approval, I think that the speed was much faster down solely to the UK embassy in general but more importantly down to the UK London embassy group here on VisaJourney who have the process *so* well documented including how to reduce the wait times as far as possible. I'm forever in their debt.

I agree! If it wasn't for the forum I'd be still working on my k1 visa ?

You're giving me a little hope since my status is stuck on 'fingerprint fee received' too. I will hit the 62 day mark next week and although I'm really trying to be patient I wonder if I should call them sometime on Tuesday as well and just ask what's up.

Did you ask to speak with a tier 2 or did you just inquire information about your case?

Hello buzzz223, I wouldn't worry too much. We have the same timeline and my case status hasn't changed at all.

Day 0 - 6/10/2016 sent package (I130, I485, I864, I693,I130, I765)

Day 9 - 6-22/2016 Checks cleared

Day 10 - 6/23/2016 NOA Received by text end email

Day 14 - 6/27/2016 Received NOA by mail

Day 26 - 7/09/2016 Received Biometric appointment notice schedule 7/20/2016

Day 32 - 7/15/2016 Biometrics done Walked-in

Day 100 - 9/21/2016 I765 and I130 approved

I'm OK for now. All this waiting and no changes just gets frustrating sometimes.

I hope we'll get a turn real soon too.

Service request is when you submit a request for them to look into your case as to why it's not been approved yet... With the EAD a service request can be submitted at day 75... Aslong as your beyond 75days your able to submit a service request... For AOS a service request can't be submitted until your outside normal processing times Edited by Moslund
