Awesome that some of you have completed this process! Congratulations to the new American Citizens.

Alas, I spoke with a USCIS agent and the St. Paul MN office is currently working on February applicants and she said it could be another 4 months for me :(

She also said for this office it is a 8-9 month process start to finish.

Guess good things come to those who wait :)

This is worrisome: on November 29th, USCIS apparently stopped approving N400 applications and cancelled all scheduled oath ceremonies due to problems with the background check system. It is not clear when approvals and oaths will resume. https://judiciary.house.gov/press-release/house-judiciary-committee-uncovers-uscis-fails-conduct-background-checks-immigration-applicants/

I had my interview on November 17 and got an update a few days later, saying that my case was recommended for approval but was now under quality review, and that I would be scheduled for the oath soon. I wonder if my status has anything to do with these ongoing problems. Is anyone else in a similar situation---case under quality review and waiting for the oath notice? Is this just a routine status after the interview?

In any case, this story might end up delaying everyone's pending cases for months.

This is so disheartening. =/ I already had to cancel my plans to go back home this month and celebrate the holidays with my family abroad because I didn't want to miss any notices from USCIS. I'm still waiting on my interview appointment and based on this news, I don't believe I'm getting that anytime soon.

I wonder if my status has anything to do with these ongoing problems. Is anyone else in a similar situation---case under quality review and waiting for the oath notice? Is this just a routine status after the interview?

In any case, this story might end up delaying everyone's pending cases for months.

June 3 - Mailed N-400, Application for Naturalization.

June 8 - Received email with Receipt Number.

June 11 - Biometrics appointment letter mailed out (June 30 at 1PM)

June 30 - Biometrics.

I've just found the oath ceremony notice in my online account: I'm scheduled for December 20 at a court in NYC. This was a huge relief: I was worried that the problems with ELIS would cause long delays for pending approvals and oaths, but it looks like things are moving along normally.

Camgol, Are you an IOE filer? If so, I am also an IOE Filer from Jamaica, Queens with a priority date of 6/8/16. I got my biometrics done on 6/30/16. But after that, my status is stuck at "Biometrics Appointment was Scheduled". Did you received an "In-line for Interview" notification after the biometrics?
