Today i received a text to check my case status and upon checking the title read: On May 31, 2016, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. How long does it take to get the card, i don't want to celebrate until i have it in my hands it has been a long journey.

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

my case was approved on the same day (yesterday 5/31), i received a text at night stating my case status had been updated again to read: On May 31, 2016, we approved your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number Case Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx.

So yesterday I got 2 messages, first one said Card was Ordered and second message a few hours later said Case was Approved. Yet we got approval May 6th. Is this just a normal change of events?

I believe your card went for production. Hope will get the same massage because we had approval since the 5th and received welcome letter around 10th. since then nothing happened.

Card received in the mail - hallelujah!!! i am so thankful!!! Message was updated on the website to read:On June 9, 2016, the Post Office delivered your new card for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx, to the address that you gave us. The tracking number assigned is 9205590153708689660104. You can use your tracking number at www.USPS.com in the Quick Tools Tracking section. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschangeto give us your new mailing address.
