From my own experience and being advised from one of the top US immigration attorneys, a child, in your case, several, needs a current home country passport, a visa, and permission from the don't give a darn biological parent to both leave their home country and even to board the airplane. Even need that don't give darn parent to get that passport and visa permission.

This took us close to a year to get this, but after the child is free to come here, we instantly applied for that I-485 plus a bunch of other forms well before that I-94 ran out. Two weeks later, got an I-767 where the child was free to stay here and free to attend school. In regards to that AOS, that took a year before we finally were called in for an interview. That is when she finally got her green card, but at least she was here and with us.

A lot depends on your situation if a biological parent is involved, and the problems you will have in getting your kids passports and visas. If you think the USCIS is slow, try the NVC.

Hi guys my husband is peterioner for my minir children oyr pd is january 22 2016 sny idea when it will get approved?

The PD is irrelevant when it's an Immediate Relative case.

It takes about a year for a USC to petition for a stepchild under age 21.

Since your husband filed about 4 months ago, it could take USCIS several more months to approve the I-130 before sending it to the NVC. Once you send in all the paperwork to the NVC, the interview will be scheduled. All this takes time since not is fast with a government bureaucracy.
