our receipt date is May 4 and still waiting at CSC....we had sent an email inquiry and got the same generic reply that everyone gets after 2 weeks of waiting. Tomorrow will be 9 months complete since we filed I-751, this is getting boring. We will be filing the I-400 on April 28th so hopefully we have an approved I-751 by then!

Hi everyone,

I didn't check this site long time, but i need your help.

On 05/26/2016 the Department of Homeland Security returned my documents for JOINT I-751 petition for removal of conditions of permanent resident status because I sent them earlier than 90 days.I resend the documents on On 05/27/2016.

On the first notice of action from USCIS I-797 from 5/31/2016 there is one receipt number.
On the second  notice of action from USCIS I-797 from 6/11/2016, when they invite me for biometrics on 6/27/2016, there is two receipts numbers:
To check Case Status on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do I use the second one because the first one doesn't exist.
When I was doing change of address on line on 8/5/2016, https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do, the second number didn't work so I used the first number. On my notification e-mail from USCIS about change of address is stands (the first one)

We're in the process of buying a new home and will move again, and also I'm carrying twins my due date is 6/7/2016.
It's been almost seven months since we applied, I saw on excel sheet that some of you people are already approved. I'm in a doubt that maybe they don't have my new address.

I wrote an e-mail on CSC-NCSC-FollowUp@uscis.dhs.gov should i also call them on   (1-800-375-5283) ?

Thank you!

Hi everyone,

I called USCIS to confirm the change of my address, that was my doubt.

The answer was that they can't check that on the phone, and that I need to make an appointment. She gave me her name and number but she told me she isn't  able to check that info.

My NOA 1 is May 31,  2016, so I asked her why is taking so much time... She told me that now they work on cases from May 14, 2016.

I made an appointment for February 13, 2017 in Santa Ana, California.

I'll inform you guys how was the meeting but hopefully till than all may fillers get their green cards :)

Is there any way we can expedite the process?

Since nobody has responded yet -- I'm not aware of one, though perhaps others can weigh in.

Out of curiosity, why are you looking to expedite? Are you running into problems with the extension letter not being accepted? Is your extension about to run out (and if this is the case, do you know about making an Infopass and getting an I-551 stamp?)?

I'm assuming that what you're asking is: Even if we haven't been approved for the ROC, can we still submit the N-400?

The answer is yes. Once you are within 90 days of 3 years of being a permanent resident, you can send in the application for citizenship.

Basically, what we're counting on is that since they can't process our citizenship applications until after the ROC has been approved, once our citizenship applications show up, they will have to process our ROCs.

So go ahead and apply, if it's time to do that - hopefully it will get things moving for you!

Is your timeline updated?

I just called USCIS and they said we are outside normal processing times (our date is May 4) and that they would normally transfer me to a Tier 2 but that they have closed Tier 2 for the day due to heavy call volume and to call back later or early tomorrow. They also submitted an inquiry but told me that it takes 3-5 days for Tier 2 to address an inquiry.

Looks like USCIS just suddenly came to a halt. They've been processing May filers since early November 2016 and 3 months later, they're still on May filers. Something must be going on at CSC
