BZEGURL,

The medical fees are never quoted over the phone with the doctor in Belize. We called several times to get exact amounts so we knew how much we had to bring and every time, they told us they could only give an estimate because they don't know what you need until they see you in person. We also had to pay extra money for vaccinations. The Meningococcal vaccine is required and is something that you definitely want to have, as Meningitis can be deadly.

Thank you my dear. Yes I'm finding some stuff out for sure. Hope all is well with you and your husband? Were you allowed in embassy with your hubby? My husband will be here wanna know if he will be able to enter. Tks

So here is my review of the medical done today.

I got there at around after 10am for my 11am appointment. Upon entering was asked to show my passport, interview letter, medical form, passport pictures also asked if I had my immunization card which I did. Then was told to write on the back of the medical form the address I will be staying at in the United States and also a contact number and name for refferal in Jamaica. I was then assigned a number.

Number was called a little after 11am where I made the first payment. Then was asked to have a seat. Was then called again to check my blood pressure , height and weight and eye exam then I was directed to do the blood test. After that, was then asked to have a seat back in the waiting area and wait for my name to be called. Waited a while, then was to do physical and was asked a few medical history questions by the doctor conducting the physical . After that was done I was asked to again wait for name to be called then was sent to do X-ray. When that was done I was then directed to go by the cashier and make payments for the necessary shots. When payment was made I again waited for my name to be called and a short while after my name was called and was told which shots I would be given. Medical was done at around 2:45pm. They were friendly and courteous. The waiting area has A/C and local TV channels but it may take a while in between waits so bring a book if you don't wanna be bored the entire time.

Good luck to all those with upcoming interviews and medical and also awaiting C/C and interviews. Hang in there. Let God be the strength you need as well as your spouse.

Don't feel embarrassed. I used to call them multiple times per day. Matter of fact before they scheduled me, I called 2 hours before and nothing. So keep bugging them. Lol good luck!

LOL Thanks Petes30 I'm trying :)
