Brother almaty.... unfortunately, it is "civilization" which attacks those who are different, and I am not only talking about sexuality here.

I for one, dislike the term "straight" as opposed to heterosexual; since it implies that homosexuals (GLBTQ) are somehow "not-straigt = crooked = defective".

People are who they are, and I value them for what they bring into my life: caring, wisdom, friendship, tolerance. I personally have much more distaste for those who do drugs or alcohol and drive, who beat their spouses, who rape their children (or other people's children), who kill other human beings, who torture animals, who steal people's retirement funds; who lie to get a political appointment, who are deadbeat parents; than for a same sex couple who loves, honors and respect each other. Aren't we all here because we love and respect our partners or partners-to-be? And don't we all get defensive when people question our spousal choice since we married foreigners? I thought so. But hey! For those who get off on hate (not you brother almaty), get on with it.

Peace, L.

Someone in my family is gay. She wasn't when she was young, but was deeply hurt by her ex-husband.

She fell in love with a woman (who is basically a man in a woman's body) and they've been together for years.

I don't think ALL people are born that way, but a vast majority are.

a gay version of lol

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

psych. study...interesting.

The authors investigated the role of homosexual arousal in exclusively heterosexual men who admitted negative affect toward homosexual individuals. Participants consisted of a group of homophobic men (n = 35) and a group of nonhomophobic men (n = 29); they were assigned to groups on the basis of their scores on the Index of Homophobia (W. W. Hudson & W. A. Ricketts, 1980). The men were exposed to sexually explicit erotic stimuli consisting of heterosexual, male homosexual, and lesbian videotapes, and changes in penile circumference were monitored. They also completed an Aggression Questionnaire (A. H. Buss & M. Perry, 1992). Both groups exhibited increases in penile circumference to the heterosexual and female homosexual videos. Only the homophobic men showed an increase in penile erection to male homosexual stimuli. The groups did not differ in aggression. Homophobia is apparently associated with homosexual arousal that the homophobic individual is either unaware of or denies.
