Hi everyone,

I am slightly worried, I applied for AOS from K1 back in October 2015, and my status is still stuck on:

Fingerprint Fee Was Received

Anyone else still stuck on this status for months?

Yes. The online status usually does not change if there is no update in the status. Sometimes it never changes. It has been known to be unreliable.

Those being approved without interview can wait 6-12+ months. Check out the posts in the progress reports forum.

However, if you never even had your biometrics appointment, then you need to make an infopass appointment and get your case moving.

We are in the same situation.

Submitted AOS and EAD Beginning of December 2015.

Biometrics appointment BUT only for EAD received last March..so only index finger with her picture taken.

Day after her EAD was approved then production then mailed.

AOS still stuck in Fingerprint Fee received till now. We already called for a service request but still waiting for the response.

Wait...wait..wait..wait...sucks....

Similar position here as we filed for AOS from K1 last November. Got an RFE for Initial Evidence on November 27th, submitted this evidence but status hasn't changed since November 27th (says something along the lines of "Request for initial evidence sent. We won't begin working on your case until we receive this evidence").

Had biometrics early January and received EAD/ AP card in late January. Since then, absolutely nothing. A Case Inquiry/ Service Request came back as "case within normal processing time".

Frustrating, especially as even a February 2016 filer has already got their green card, whereas some of us who filed months earlier are still waiting. Just wish the USCIS would be better at updating/ tracking our cases.

N400 Naturalization

Applied - 07/21/2022

NOA - 07/21/2022

Biometrics - Re-used

Interview - 11/03/2022 (Passed!)

Oath Ceremony - 11/08/2022

Yes it is very upsetting that there is no correct timeline for AOS.

But, congratulations to everyone else that got their AOS approved earlier than us.

Yes, same here. I filed in October 2015 from K1, got my EAD/AP in January, and the status still shows that my fingerprinting fee was accepted. Only thing, though, is I got a letter about a potential interview waver for my case and that they are lagging behind, so told me my case should be processed in 6 months. That sets my deadline in August, I guess. Has anyone else also received this kind of letter?

Thanks.

I hope that we would get the same waiver too....
