You're welcome :) Perhaps. I've seen people mentioning they didn't get NOAs by text and email even though they had attached the email notification form however their case had been accepted and then received the NOAs in the mail. That might be the case for you as well. I hope you'll figure out what's up soon :)

Just got it this morning!! :) Better later than never... ok, now I can just relax that hopefully, someone is doing something on my case :D ..and just wait :D

Hi all :)

I've got a quick question :) People keep mentioning that they're waiting for their physical NOA1 in the post despite having gotten the text/emails already. In the immediate term, is there any reason to want the NOA1 after you've gotten the text and emails? Or is this just an excitement?

If it is just an excitement, I can totally understand! I got really excited when I received the physical NOA1 for K1 but it didn't tell me anything new! I just am trying to understand the notification process a bit more for when I file the I-485 documentation next month :) If the NOA1 for the AOS is similar though then presumably, you don't learn any new information from the physical NOA1 than you do from the emails and texts. Or have I misunderstood?

No you're right, it's nothing different from the K1 experience with the hardcopy NOA1 however I'm personally excited to receive it because 1) that really shows proof of having a pending AOS and 2) it will show the actual date you were put in the system and not the notification date - at least that's how it was for us in the K1 process.

I'm more excited about receiving the biometrics letter though :)

My cheques where cashed on April 1. I'm putting the mail delay down to me living a while away from a major city and just extra postage. Expecting it Monday/Tuesday. Then as soon as I go for biometrics I am planning to expedidate my Work Auth.
