Hi people!

It seems that the end is near for this whole batch of applicants! Today I woke up to an email from USCIS saying that they had mailed my new card! NO INTERVIEW!! It came completely out of the blue and I didn't get any email for the approval of my case or the issue of the card, so I got to skip that part of the stress and just found out once it had been mailed!!! I am counting on it being here Monday/Tuesday :dancing: . This is literally the first time we've been on the lucky side of things when it comes to USCIS, so I hope it doesn't get annulled by anything else and I can finally plan a visit to my family!

Nope, we're there with you. Our file is in the Newark office which is reporting an 11 month processing time (more or less, and I don't really put much faith into reported processing times, but still). I'll be happy to hear something before the new year :(

Marriage/ AOS Timeline:

23 Dec 2015: Legal marriage

23 Jan 2016: Wedding!

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. (L)

16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

23 Apr 2016: Wedding! Finally! :luv:

K-1 Visa Timeline:

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

21 Sep 2015: Packet 3 complete, my boss puts a temporary moratorium on all time off due to work emergency :clock:

02 Oct 2015: Work emergency clears up, interview scheduled (soonest available was 5 business days away--Columbus Day was in there)

13 Oct 2015: Interview

13 Oct 2015: VISA APPROVED :thumbs: (236 days from NOA1)

19 Oct 2015: Visa-in-hand

24 Oct 2015: POE !

15 Dec 2015: Fiance's mother's B-2 visa interview: APPROVED! So happy she will be at the wedding! :thumbs:

although its depressing and not good were both still stuck on fingerprint fee received I'm super happy im not alone.. I called today to get a check on my Service request i was told they have until this friday (21st) get somethin gin the mail with reguards to my service request and if not to call back on that day... I highly doubt i will receive anything in the mail by friday since my service request is still not assigned to an officer yet.. I also found out my local office has now surpassed my filling date of april 11th so im now offically out of normal processing times as of a few day ago.. Happy thought i really thought october was going to be my month... i still have time but i dont think the rest of october or the month of november will give me anything positive... im now thinking i wont hear anything until december... Grats to everyone on there approval and people who received there interview dates!!!

Oooh nice! They just updated their magic website with processing dates as of August 31st and NYC seems to be a month behind SF so hoping for a Christmas interview here:) Although SF office states processing end of December cases at the end of August, so it seems like the reality is a little different from what they post on the website:)

Yeah. I like to think that the date that that site suggests is the date of the OLDEST case that they're handling as of X date; meaning that they're always a tad more up to date than what they officially state. I'm sure your interview date is happening soon! Best of lucks!

Yeah, I don't trust what it says on the website too much because many people who filed this year have their interview even if they website says 2015. My local office in Long Island is saying processing December 1st as of August. Seems like it's mostly us New Yorkers waiting still......

Hey guys, I filed in the first week of April. My interview is scheduled in a couple of days.

It's been a few months since we filed: both my sponsoring spouse and I have different jobs and different incomes now, than what we had at the time of filing. Do we have to resubmit new G325As and new I864 at the time of the interview?

Long time since I updated, but finally got notification that my green card is being produced today. So glad to have this done, without having to deal with an interview. Best of luck to all of you out there still waiting, it will come!

Day 188 here. I'm too scared to put in a service request because last time I did that (for EAD), we got an RFE (that we got out of... but still).

Does anyone know how long the Vermont Office may take to process an RFE response? My RFE was pretty simple. They wanted photocopy of my expired passport. They acknowledge the RFE response on September 28th. I haven't heard anything since. I submitted my I-485 application on April 20th, 2016. RFE was issued on September 20, 2016. RFE response received data is September 28, 2016.

AOS Pending:

April 18, 2016 : Mailed I-485, I-756, I-131

April 20, 2016: packet received by USCIS

June 10, 2016: Biometric Appointment (completed)

August 19, 2016: AP Approved.

August 19, 2016: EAD (I-765) Approved.

September 20, 2016: RFE (simple rfe to send photocopies of my expired passport)

September 22, 2016: RFE Response Sent

September 28, 2018: Status updated 'Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received'

I-485 - still pending.
