Im from Atl too .. i recieved a message that my i485 too is scheduled for interview for August..

My AOS Timeline (From B1/B2):



2016-4-01: AOS Package mailed to USCIS (I-485, I-130, I-765)


2016-4-11 : Package received; NOA date


​2016-4-29: Received biometric appointment letter; appointment set on May 9th


2016-5-02: Completed biometric appointment as scheduled ( early Walk-in )


2016-6-20: Called USCIS customer service and make a service Request on the 75th Day for I-765


2016-6-23: I-765 status changed to "your new card is being produced;


2016-6-28: I-765 status changed to "card was mailed"


2016-7-01: I-765 status changed to "card was delivered to me by the post office"


2016-7-20: I-485 Status Changed to Test and Interview

Just received my Green Card today We didn't get called into an interview! My card is valid for 10 year though.... That has to be a mistake, right?

So, last Thursday (day 76), I submitted an online SR for my EAD and today it was assigned to an officer and I got a response: "Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly."

This is not super helpful per se, as I know it's still within 90 days anyways, but at least I'm happy my SR was assigned to an officer and processed quickly, maybe it will help my EAD to move quicker. We'll see

I also wrote to the congressman on the same day as I submitted the SR, but hasn't gotten any response...

05/31/2016 - biometrics appointment

08/04/2016 - EAD in hand

02/08/2017 - Interview - Case held for review - Later same day status update "Card is being produced"

02/16/2017 - GC in hand!

02/01/2019 - I551 stamp (no NOA1 received)

This so so crazy. From hearing nothing for 3 months this has been the week of action. On Saturday EAD card was being produced. On Monday my AP card was being produced and today for my I-485 it says my card is being produced!

So am i getting all three, surely the EAD and AP become null and void if you get your green card. Also no mention of interview, it went straight from Fingerprint fee received to card being produced. So many questions but mostly very excited!

The EAD becomes void but if it was approved before the I-485 then they will still mail it to you since it was approved first... Once you have your Green card in hand the EAD will become void at that point Edited by Moslund

December 5th: Case status changed from "fingerprint fee received" to "Approved" post dated Dec 1st [Day 239]

December 8th: Green card received in mail!!! [day 242]

The EAD becomes void but if it was approved before the I-485 then they will still mail it to you since it was approved first... Once you have your Green card in hand the EAD will become void at that point

Ok thanks, thought as much. Just comes as a surprise coz i spoke to an agent last week and she said that I had a 9 month wait for my green card. Not complaining though :)

Question guys------

Has there been anyone on here that in the online case status for the I-485 it said "it is ready to be scheduled for interview we will let you know" from the beginning but then it was approved with no interview?? Just wondering what my chances are for that to happen.

August 31, 2015 - NOA1 Hardcopy Received                                                                   March 28, 2016 - CIVIL Wedding Ceremony!

September 23, 2015 - RFE Received                                                                              April 12, 2016 - Certified Copy of Marriage Certificate received!

September 27, 2015 - RFE Sent to CSC                                                                         April 18, 2016 - Filed AOS via USPS

I am at the day 110 and no news about my EAD...is there somebody with the same issue???

Hi there,

Our dates are close to yours, and interestingly enough we are both in the DC area. We are adjusting from an F1 student visa if that matters. USCIS received our package on April 13, and our NOA date was April 19. We submitted a 75 day service request on June 28 and were told on July 13 that our case was under review. Our I-485 has been ready to schedule for an interview since June 13, and we did not receive a RFE or RFIE. Our EAD and AP case numbers are returning validation errors and a separate service request in May for that issue was ignored. We called earlier this week after seeing EAD/AP case numbers before and after us were approved and the Tier 2 told us to just wait. Our lawyer's office called again today and was instructed to call back again at the end of the month if we didn't receive the card by then. Very frustrating.

We checked this morning and early this afternoon and nothing but I Just checked and ours just got approved today. Finally. Hope yours is coming soon!

4/8/2016 mailed AOS package (lawyer)

4/19/2016 bank confimed that cashier's checks were cashed

4/22/2016 received hard copy NOAs for I-765, I-130, I-485 ***Priority date 4/13/16***

4/30/2016 received biometrics notice, scheduled for 5/13/2016

5/05/2016 Walk in Biometrics done, Columbus, OH

6/22/2016 Online service request submitted for EAD

6/30/2016 Interview scheduled for 08/04/2016

07/20/2016 EAD card being produced

07/27/2016 EAD received

08/04/2016 Interview completed, APPROVED

08/13/2016 GC delivered

***able to check I-485 receipt number as of 6/30/2016, I-765 receipt number as of 7/20/2016, I-130 as of 07/28/2016**
