Hi guys!! I hope you all enjoyed the 4th!

I was so happy to find USCIS letter in my mail box yesterday!!!! I was so excited to see if it is the interview letter or EAD card info buuuuut ofc they pissed me of again :D They sent me one sentence saying they received my service request and they will work on it. Such a wasting of paper and time!!! Day 96 and nothing happened so far....

Good luck to everyone!

USCIS can be so cruel sometimes with their useless letters. How long did it take for it to arrive since you filed the service request?

ugh sometimes I swear they make my mind go into crazy conspiracy theories of why the hell they are so terrible at their job. I read that USCIS is funded like 95% by the money we pay with our applications. You'd think that at least for that they would have some decency and do things in a timely manner. 90 days is really not a short time.

For people who have received their EAD cards, did everyone get a notification online with the tracking number or did it just arrive in the mail? I'm still not able to check the status online and am going off of one conversation with tier 2.

Any information is helpful.

Mine arrived in the mail and I got an electronic notification telling me it had been delivered and with the tracking number the afternoon it arrived - when it was the least useful

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Hi shrb,

I see on your signature that you had eNotification on 04/28 and on your timeline NOA 1 date is 04/27. Since the 75 days time frame limit is from the NOA1 date, was that a problem to put in a SR? Didn't they mention that to you on the phone? How did it go?

I had a representative on the phone a couple of weeks ago and they told me to call back on 07/11 to put in a SR. Just wondering if i can try to call in early to get it moving (my NOA1 date is 04/26).

Thanks

It's good to see fellow San Francisco filers here to share our experiences. Today marks 76 days since they received the forms, and I can't check the status online for the EAD. I called USCIS customer service yesterday and I've been told that they can't transfer me to tier 2 because they're experiencing a heavy load. I was told to call early in the morning in the first few minutes they start working to catch them at their least busiest time or have them call me back and that could take up to 5 days.

Let's keep each other posted.

Mine arrived in the mail and I got an electronic notification telling me it had been delivered and with the tracking number the afternoon it arrived - when it was the least useful

Yeah, given how these procedures take time, they really need to make sure that all receipt numbers work online! Part of the heavy load experienced by their customer service is probably due to some people not knowing the progress on their cases, which if they fix, it will at least alleviate some of the load off of customer service so they can deal with more complicated inquiries.

Indeed what aANDg points out. I based my request from the date they received my petition which was on April 25th. Actually my 75-day mark is going to happen this Saturday, so I decided to give it a try today... I guess it all comes down to the rep. you get. Hope you're lucky on your next call!!!
