hi there!

i hope someone can give me some advice on this, its stressing me out

so i send in my AOS package and it got rejected, the NOA said that the payment amount is incorrect or has not been provided.

i got 3 NOA for each I-485, I-130, and I-765. i did check again and again and i put the right amount to pay. which is $1.870.

my guess would be because i made all payment for those 3 forms in one check. but before i send them in, i call their customer service center and ask and make sure whether i have to do 3 separate check or 1 compile check and the rep said 1 check would be fine because its going to be addressed to 1 single name which is U.S. Department of Homeland Security. i put a memo also on the check stating that the amount stated is for I-485, I-130, and I-765.

so im not sure what happened, going to call em tomorrow, but i still need some input or insight for all of you just to put my mind at ease.

thank you thank you much..!

Might as well send 1 check per application. Your application would have been categorized differently and different person touched your 3 cases. I am just guessing that would be the reason why

Do you fall under this category?

The filing fee for Form I-765 is $380. If you are requesting consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), you must also pay an $85 biometric services fee for a total of $465.

For I130 I think you mean I131?

The fee for I 485 is $985 + $85 biometrics, total $1070. The other 2 forms are free when filed with the I485.

hi, you paid incorrectly because you didn't read the instructions

the other posters are incorrect

the i130 is $420 and the i485 is $1070, so the amount needed to be sent is $1490

now if you are adjusting status from a K1, then the i130 isn't needed and you only pay for the i485 which is $1070

the i131, i864, i765 and the G325A if needed are no cost

the other forms have no cost when sent with the i485, with the exception of the i693 medical and vaccination

you paid for the i765 which is free

send everything again with the correct amount

I thought so,

Just file I-130 if you are Immediate Relative(spouse, parent or child). So, the petitioner will petition you?

Why do you need to file the other two? Please enlighten us more with your status :reading:

Because it's in-country AOS, not a visa petition. Concurrent filing of I-130 & I-485. OP is correct in what forms he or she is filing. Only the check amount was incorrect.

I get the fact about incorrect fees. That's what topic she mentioned anyway but I am just confused on her status at first.
