How to know the status of I-751 (ROC)

I'm a military spouse and have submitted my I-751 application in Sept 2015 and as you know, we don't get an ASC or biometric appointment notice since we've already submitted a fingerprint card.

I already called the MIL hotline and the customer service wasn't really helpful.

For those who have gone through the same situation, how did you track the status of your application?

Are you overseas that you didn't have to get biometrics? You can call USCIS and ask for your case number and than look it up online on uscis page.

Yes, we are stationed in Japan. Will try calling USCIS again.

HI I am not sure if anyone is still online but I was wondering how to check your I-751 if you're overseas. we are currently stationed in Japan and I filed I-751 in Aug 2017, received the extension letter but I just can't check my case number. It always says error. please help

Same question.  Actual tracking number comes with the biometric appointment invitation and while on pcs we obviously don't get that. Numbers from extension letter aren't meant to be use for tracking.

I was wondering about something. 

 

The USCIS instructions says that if you're filling based on military orders you should write that down on the envelope also. I was wondering do they process military ROC differently than regular ROC? Or what's the reason for them wanting us to mark our packages. 

 

I know it's probably too much to hope for that they would process military stuff faster lol.

I sent my ROC in August 2017 as well and of course after 10 months, no status on it either! and of course, we got overseas orders in February 2019 for Okinawa, Japan. I sent an email to the military USCIS area, hoping to hear from them if they could expedite my case.

What is your case for expedite? 

Deployment won't be good enough in this case because it's set in 2019. You'll get ROC approved by then.

I figured I might as well try and let them know we're being stationed overseas.  We only found out a few weeks ago. I just want all the papers need to be sorted out before we move, my green card is expired and all I have is a letter from USCIS saying its extended for 1 year but that letter expires in September so hopefully it gets approved before that or ill need another letter. At this point I might as well apply for naturalization since I am eligible in August...
