Form I-485 Packet

  • Money order $ 1070
  • Birth Certificate
  • Copy of Passport Biographical Data and page containing the K1 Visa
  • Medical examination report (Vaccination Supplemental Sheet), no I-693
  • G-325A
  • Affidavit of Support, Form I-864/Employment letter
  • Employment letter
  • Most recent W-2 tax transcript
  • Pay stubs from the most recent 6 months
  • Copy of the Approval Notice (NOA 2)
  • Marriage certificate
  • Form I-94
  • Two passport-type photos

Form I-131

  • Two passport-type photos
  • Copy of Passport Biographical Data and page containing the K1 Visa

Form I-765

  • Two passport-type photos
  • Copy of Passport Biographical Data and page containing the K1 Visa

10/21/2013 - Letter for Biomettrics appointment received

11/04/2013 - RFE from checking online

11/07/2013 - Biometrics

11/08/2013 - Received the RFE letter in the mail & sent RFE on the same day!!

11/14/2013 - RFE respond received

12/04/2013 - I-485 Family-based Card in production (a.m.) then went to Decision (p.m.) - NO interview

12/09/2013 - Green Card was mailed!

12/11/2013 - GC received! 2 months and 1 day from the NOA1

This is a tax transcript, a W-2 or something else ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Oh, just a W-2

The I-864 requires a complete copy of your most recent tax return with all forms, schedules, W-2s and/or 1099s, OR an IRS tax transcript. http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Order-a-Transcript

Apparently, it's too late for me to have read this! LOL, just submitted my AOS package, and inside it was the latest W-2 form only. No schedules etc. Just W-2

I'm also currently preparing our AOS packet. Does anyone have a complete checklist?

Also, do we need duplicates for each form? Or since they are being sent together is one copy sufficient?

Journey so far:

09/14/2012: Sent I-129F Packet

09/21/2012: NOA1 Received

04/22/2013: NOA2 Notice of approval
05/08/2013 NVC Received

06/01/2013 Packet 3 Received

06/04/2013 Packet 3 Sent

06/10/2013 Packet 4 email received

06/27/2013 First Scheduled interview-cancelled (didn't get notarized paperwork in time)

08/12/2013 K-1 interview passed!

08/28/2013 Lili Arrives in the U.S.!!!

10/04/2013 Marriage!!!

03/26/2014 AOS Approved!

04/02/2014 Received GC
