We have called into NVC the 4th time. Now we been told only 1 item got check-list which is my Birth certificate and they equally agreed they got it and made a mistake checking some old law against the certificate. Now we are placed back in queue for no good reason whatsoever due to Case handler negligence. Sent for supervisor review and we equally sending it out again with a backup letter and The wrrong Law which the NVC dude quoted for us

So sad right now, called NVC and we were told we got check-list yesterday for my Birth certificate & Divorce decree. Both of which we sent as part of our IV package. I am so freaking gutted rite now. The lady said sending again might be a lot quicker than supervisor review which takes about another 42days.

Why all these heartache? Why?

I'm sorry that there's all this confusion going on with your case. Seems like their mistake so I really hope it gets straightened out and that your cc is around the corner. It's understandably frustrating right now, but surely there will be victory at the end of this.

They are so incredibly stupid. They must have a bunch of Trump supporters working at NVC. I'm really sorry to hear that, it's heartbreaking isn't it?

I'm with you mate, until we both get that greencard. Keep us updated.

I so feel you pain. It's all BS that they suddenly lose your docs. When we called this morning to confirm if they got round 2 of my BC, we got rep Joanie; so rude and unfriendly! Did you get an email after you were told about your checklist? NVC issued our checklist on March 3 and still no sign of email or regular mail. She had the audacity to be annoyed with us emailing the doc when they still haven't, until today, emailed us and she admitted to it. Don't wait for the letter. Mail your docs asap.

My wife got through to Joanie too. I don't know if she's stupid or rude. She kept telling my wife to send court records even though I've never been to court, even when my wife explained there is no court records. Anyway, my new scan date is today. Edited by IamIan

Until my wife finally flipped and she told my wife she was over reacting and that it wasn't a big deal.

i must call to speak to Joanie

how do you guys even get their name? I have called twice and i never get the rep to disclose their name

Hi guys,

Congrats to all those who have gotten CC and interview dates! :dancing: Very happy for you guys :D

I've not been on the forum regularly since my husband got sick. He eventually had to be rushed to the ER yesterday to have emergency surgery done for a tiny skin infection that got worse despite our constant visual inspection of the area. Surgery was successful but they have to keep him for observation and are awaiting tests to come back from the lab.

I'll be flying out to Florida on Tuesday to spend the next month or so with him while he recovers so my visa journey has gone to Florida for the meanwhile.

I may be on and off the forum to check up on you guys....so be good while I'm away
