Hey! I just wanted to update really quickly - this morning my husband and I checked our status as we do every day and FINALLY it changed! My AP and EAD have both been approved and my EAD was produced on the 27th of May! I AM SO EXCITED AND CANNOT WAIT TO START WORKING

I feel like the only March filer whose EAD still hasn't been approved.... anyone else out there??

Dear Oceana you are not the only one Lol... filed at the same time as 6years and Tampa as well. So at this point I say USCIS do whatever they want. Our files are probably being used as coasters lmao

Day 75,ead approved 3 weeks ago, still no card or update. Called USCIS, waiting for a tier 2 call back now. Fingers crossed they have an update for me.

Others can correct me if wrong... but I am under the impression you need to be at 75 days from first submission arriving in Chicago - or 30 days following approval - to easily get thru to a tier 2. You submitted an expedite request a few days ago... Not sure what else you can do except wait. Or get demanding. Unless they gave you more info when you submitted your request?

You can request that you get transferred to a tier 2.

I got an alert on my case tracker early this morning saying status has been changed on i485 and i765 but when I opened it I still see case received.Is this some error messages or they really worked on my case and am yet to get the actual notification? Today makes it 87 days and haven't gotten Ead approval yet

You should of filed on day 75 for upcoming 90 day Work auth, and they would expedite your case. you should be calling tier 2 asap, and maybe contacting ombusmen.

Nah, I filed at the start of March and still not approved. I've done a case inquiry and spoke to a T2 rep but nothing yet - they said to wait until the 8th June for the case inquiry to complete.

Same. My application was received March 1st and I'm still waiting EAD approval

I know the feeling very well. I cried this morning when I saw my status had been updated. I quit going to the mail box this week because I was getting so upset with disappointment then this morning we checked our status as normal and to our delight it had updated! It will be updated soon, I'm sure!

Vexie and B and E, keep me posted on the service requests! I'm pretty close to being able to open one... not sure how helpful it will be, though.

For me, the service request hasn't been very helpful. I opened one on day 76 and was supposed to have gotten a response by today but haven't gotten anything. I'll have to give them a call tomorrow because my EAD has now taken more than 90 days. I'll let update you after I call tomorrow. Hope they are faster with your service request than they've been with mine.

They called back... Card is in production so the tier 2 op said. She said if I don't have it by the 7th of June to call back.

Congrats to all of the recent approvals/cards in mail!!!!

I'm still waiting too....Packet sent out on 3/25, biometrics on April 27th, and no updates since case received on 3/30...impatient doesn't quite cover it.
