I know how you feel. It's been 100 days since my NOA1, and now nothing. You must be at around 120 days.

Everyone says be patient, you are still within the processing time of 5 months . . . it's tough being patient when I'm seeing others with NOA1 dates well after mine, and they are preparing for the interview at the embassy. Don't misunderstand - I wish everyone well on their journey. But . .. I don't understand why the CSC can't finish up January applications before starting on Feb-March?

When I see that I just keep thinking "you don't even realize how lucky you are to have come that far in such a short time".

I'm happy for those who manage to get their case to move forward of course, but it doesn't take away the feeling of being left out and after a while you kind of lose hope than things will ever turn out well. I have absolutely zero idea of what's happening to our case. No idea whatsoever. And that feeling sucks.

I totally understand where you're coming from, waiting is no fun either way. What I'm saying is that there's a difference between you waiting for 35 days instead of 30 at NVC (30 days even seem quite normal at this point), and waiting for 5 months instead of 2 at USCIS. I would be happy if I only had to wait 2-3 weeks longer than "everyone else", but now it's going on 2 months, and it just keeps going. I didn't worry one bit when my case had taken 2 weeks longer than what was "normal", but 2 months starts to feel a little too much..

I can totally understand your reasons, believe me. It sucks to not know what's happening to your petition. Is someone looking at it? Is it lost? I get that, we've all been in that position. For you, however, and many others, the wait is way more extended by four months. Then again, the USCIS website does say that the I-129F petition processing date is currently 5 months. I was in your position too in the beginning of April. I was getting annoyed myself seeing people getting their NOA2's faster than me. But we all have to realize that within those 5 months, we're in the normal processing times. TCS is even worse. As I read in an old topic last year, "Except 10 months, be happy with 5"

Now also, the NVC wait isn't "typically 30 days and now extended to 35 days". Sending the petition is 2-3 days to the NVC and the NVC doesn't take longer than 5-7 days to process (mostly a day or 2-3) and forward them to the embassy. I've seen a lot of petitions go FAST. I don't even know how long I'm waiting, I don't even know where my petition is at this moment since it's definitely not at the NVC. I just try to accept that once we send in the I-129F petition, we layed our future in the hands of America/USCIS and I had to accept the fact that this process is going to be annoying, painful, full of impatient waits and frustration upon us all the time. For us, this is all a long wait, NOA2 or not. NVC waiting or not. We all want to be with our love ASAP.
