Anyway ,I sent back them today.Do you think guys it is possible they going send another RFE,or they already ask more other things in this letter, if they want more evidence?. Thanks

What does it say on the letter? RFE is that they are asking for more evidence to prove that your marriage is real. The officer was not convinced enough to approve your case or you are one of those lucky ones as I was :) what did they say in the letter? Rfe can't be issued just because you did not answer 3 questions. Also they have specific guideline of what they are asking to include in the letter. What were they?

Hello guys,

Add me to the list as well. I am patiently and anxiously waiting for an approval, or a card, or an update on the website, or ... even an RFE. Yes, even that. Anything!

I-751: 2/5/16

NOA: 2/23/16

My application was incomplete;   "You are receiving this notice because USCIS requieers additional evidence to process your form. USCIS has reviewed your formI-751 and supporting evidence.  Upon inspection of the petition it has been determined that you did not answer question 18,19,20. You required to answer above question by initialing above your response. " that's all. So if I read correctly they checked all my evidence, but because I missed some questions they can't make the decision. What do you think?

Well if that was all that was missing i am sure they will be happy to approve once they get it back in their hands and their wish has been fulfilled.

Congrats to everyone approved!!!? Our online status shows the same ole same ole and I see a few were approved with dates after me. Hmmm...?So we will call today because we have received nothing. After you get your 10 year GC do you have to file the N-400?? or is it considered dual citizenship?

Thanks,

Sandy

There are people who have made InfoPass appointments and were told by IOs that the extension letter extends the conditional residency (the green card) not from the date of the NOA. You can apply for your N400 once your window opens (3 years from original green card issuance date minus 90 days). The 10-year green card is in no way, shape, or form a citizenship. You are not filing for a 10-year green card- you are applying to lift conditions from your current conditional residency.

You should file for the N400 even if you haven't gotten any news from your I-751 yet.

Hope this has been helpful.

So what ID card do you get once you lift your conditions because previous messages of replies show some type of card coming in the mail? I assumed its a new green card, good for 10 years and you become a permanent resident instead of the 2 year one that was conditional. I know its not automatic citizenship. I wanted to know if the N400 was Mandatory or Optional? If you file for it, you test as well for correct? This will then give you Dual Citizenship upon completion. You dont have to become a US citizen do you?

The N400 is optional. You can choose to remain a permanent resident for the rest of your life. I know friends who have opted for this because their country of origin doesn't allow dual citizenship and they didn't want to give up their original citizenship. If you file for the N400, you get tested on history, civics and English. You don't have to become a citizen if you don't want to though.

Hi, long-timer lurker here.

I got my NOA on 2/18 last year and just received a letter in mail approving the removal of conditions two days ago. My online status hasn't changed yet.

I heard conflicting theories about whether the one-year extension applies to the date of NOA vs. expiration date of GC, so I made an infopass appointment and got a I-551 stamp a few weeks ago (NYC). I also moved once since I filed I-751 and made the change of address request on the USCIS website.

Hope this is helpful to those who are still waiting!

Hey guys just wanted to give you a quick update. I just got off the phone with Uscis and the tier 2 officer just told me that my case was approved yesterday, Can someone please update my timeline please, my noa 1 dated 2/29/2016 and I got approved on 2/16/2017. You guys can call and find out more about your case. I was advised by the officer that I should receive a notice by mail next week and that my online status might/might not change but the card has gone into production as of yesterday. I wish everybody good luck on their case.
