I-751 February 2016 Filers

Hi guys,

I just applied for my citizenship even though my I-751 is still pending. I'm sick of the wait. I did not include my tax returns. I will bring them to the interview though. All I included was copies of my old green card, copy of NOA, copy of marriage certificate, the check, and the form. I sent all that based on the instructions of n400. It tells you exactly what to submit and what to bring to the interview!!!

I have all the paper filed out and ready to submit the N-400 waiting to file tax to get some money. It is a little pricey.

Sure hope so!  I also have everything ready (and yes, it's definitely pricey!!).  We're giving USCIS until the 15th and if we don't hear anything we'll go ahead and file.

Not yet - have everything ready to go but I'll wait until the 15th to see if we get the new card.  Either way, we'll be applying on the 15th!

Yeah you should!!! It will save you time I think. I'll join the February forum now lol. Waiting for two things???

I would have imagined that it's 1year after the expiration date but some immigration officers at the airport told me that you have to use the date of the reception of the letter... any advice?

Nobody knows?  I have a hard time finding a clear answer to this...

 I have big news I opened my mailbox and I found my approval letter I'm so happy.  It was dated February 7. the online status still says the same old thing. I hope everyone will get their approvals very soon good luck.... And good luck nmic7 and TORO

Hello Everyone ...  i have been a memeber of this Forum for a while now but never actually posted anything other than updating my timeline

But It has been a long one This time and i just got my approval letter today and it was dated Feb 7 too  , i was about to send my N/400  this coming monday , i guess ill wait until i get My GC to send a copy of it with the Application . Best of Luck for The Feb Fillers

Congratulations, Reda. Seems like your gut feeling about good vibes was right on point. What evidence have you submitted with your application?

Hey, congrats!!

i was going to wait too, but I already applied. So, I went to the post office. I sent my n400 application. I went back home. Opened my mailbox and I find my approval letter lol. The coincidence is crazy here....

i sent a bunch of things. Photos, house mortgage bills, car title that we have together, phone bills with same address, greeting cards we got from friends and family, etc

Hey guys, We are also applying for N400 next week as well, and I was wondering if we need to submit one check for $725 or do we submit two checks ($640 + $85)?

That sounds like a plan....Things will work out...we gone through a lot of obstacles.
