I just received my approval letter in the mail for my ROC. The decision was made on April 15th.

I had received an RFE back in January. I sent my RFE package in March and it was received by the Vermont Center on March 6th. So it took about 6 weeks from the moment they got my RFE package to the decision.

My online status has not changed. It still says "On February 5th, 2016 we received..."

I hope everyone else gets approved soon!

On to the citizenship part of the process now!

I'm April filer but also received RFE and sent the response on 4/19. No further update yet as of now.

I actually made an infopass today for 5/16. Hopefully, they give me something before then.

 Hi! I contacted my local senator. She sent a request to USCIS on Thursday ,to review my case. She got an answer Monday morning.;

,According to USCIS:

“The Vermont Service Center (VSC) received the Privacy Release signed by "john Smith" from Senator Gillibrand’s office. On February 27, 2017, VSC received a response to the Request for Evidence on your constituent’s Petition to Remove the Conditions of Residence (Form I-751), Receipt Number EAC-xx-xxx-xxxx, with Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) Card (Form CRI-89), Receipt Number EAC-xx-xxx-xxxx. Your constituent’s case should be assigned to an officer soon.”                                       Finger crossed.

We received an RFE on March 7, 2017 saying we did not provide enough evidence of the bonafides of our marriage. In retrospect that was true, so I hunkered down and got everything we possibly could (house deeds, joint financials, three notarized affidavits, general durable power of attorney, utility bills, 4 years of tax return transcripts) and postmarked on May 1st. Deadline is May 7th and I am kinda nervous about it. Tracking showed that it was received yesterday, but still this was way too close. Hope all goes well. Cheers.

I just received my Greencard in the mail today. All in all, it took 457 days from the moment I sent my ROC package to the day I got the card. I am so glad this part of the process is over!

My husband and I went in for another infopass this morning, and the officer said our file is still on an officer's desk for review.. for 3 months now! Also, he confirmed our address change, but suggested changing the other receipt number (he wrote it down for us) too. I realized that is the receipt number I entered when I changed the address online (the number on the notice form).. I got super confused.. but the officer did say any notices will go to our updated address.. why would he say to change the other receipt number? I know we have two receipt numbers, one to track our case status and one from the actual notice, and the online system actually only allows us to change the one for the notice one..

This is so strange that your case is on the officer desk for 3 months! Did he say why this is? I believe my case is there too because I have still not received anything ???i a wondering if I should call them again?

No. He did not say why, but he said he would not worry too much.. The reason may vary... I am going to contact my congressman if we don't hear anything by end of May.. Personally, I think infopass is more exact than phone calls.

I have changed my address a couple months before getting the approval notice and received a confirmation letter that it was changed and got the approval notice at the new address. When I called to check if the green card was mailed though, they told me it was mailed to the old address. Something about the local office not updating their system or some of that bullshit. Anyways, you have to be very careful because they tend to do this a lot.

You should also file for case assistance with the office of the Ombudsman.They work wonders!

Thank you. Yes. This is why I plan on going to an infopass every 2 months, to make sure I don't miss anything!

Also, I did file an Obudsman like a month ago.. but no news yet.. :(
