Greetings!

Can someone give me some other examples to show proof of an ongoing relationship to meet the K1 visa requirements? Other than emails, phone bills, and letters. Unfortunately, we tried to write letters to each other back and forth but the majority of ours got lost in the mail between the Philippines and the US. The ones I did receive unfortunately has smeared or unclear postal date stamps on all of the envelopes. We did this for four months and gave up. Most of our ongoing communication consists of FaceTime video sessions or Skype video sessions and messaging on Facebook. We don't really have time to email and I can't afford international calls. Would the skype/FaceTime logs (showing date/time elapsed stamp) suffice as well as printing out messages from Facebook?

Those seem like good evidence. Do you have evidence of trips together? Travel receipts, itineraries, hotel bookings, boarding passes, a few pictures?

You'll have to evidence the fact that you've met in person sometime in the last 2 years as well.

What about whatsapp, viber etc. messages?

For your embassy I would say yes, but why not use a free phone app like Viber, it's free, you can talk all you want and you can print the logs.

Give what you can. Go into your iphone call history and take screenshots of it that will show the frequency of which you two contacted one another.

Skype logs would also be great.

For the facebook ones, they are looking for quality not necessarily quantity. So if you can provide them ones where you talked about wedding details etc would be useful for you. I did that, and gave several samples during the year(s) to show the frequency and content of our conversations

These only show you talked about something. You have to convince a total stranger, the Embassy CO, that you have a legitimate relationship. Records of talking do nothing towards this end; you need to provide evidence of what you talked about. Content is key, not quantity. Does this make sense?

Great as long as you talked about serious stuff relative to your relationship. Most relationships follow a regular evolution. Your evidences, when all put together, should tell your story.

Not to be blunt, then you aren't that serious about immigrating to the US and becoming married and live together? Emails are the best because you can talk about a lot and have printed evidence of what you talked about..

So, the evolution stuff, first there is the getting to know you phase, then more discussion about your goals and desires, then talk of a more intimate nature (lovey-dovey stuff should be included since couples that plan to get married and live together do that), then talk about meeting in person, then talk of the visa process, then talk about moving to the US, then talk about living in the the US and planning that new life together. If you can show snippets of each of the stages, that speaks about the nature of your relationship.

Skype/FB chat logs work just fine, just a random sampling... don't get crazy.

I also added “payable-on-death” beneficiary on my bank account in my wife's name. I added her to the title for the car too. Included copies of receipts of any money I sent her as well. I even managed to get her added to the apartment lease, even before she was here, which the landlord did for me. Don't know if any of that mattered or not in the end, but I tried to do what I could. As you already mentioned about, phone bills, emails and chats are all great though as well.
