My fiance got the K1 visa back in November and now she is planning to come next month but we are unable to pay the online visa fees. Get the following error:

  • ERROR: We could not find the A-Number and/or DOS Case ID you entered. If your immigrant visa was approved recently, please wait five days before attempting to pay. If the problem continues after five days, please contact the Customer Contact Center for assistance.

I do have my fiance's A number from the approved I-129F letter from UCIS and I do have the NVC or DOS case number which starts from ISL2015XXXXXX. Below is the web link from where I am trying to pay the fees. Please advise ASAP.

I 'd really appreciate if you could help me out ASAP.

Thanks in advance.

Yes but that fees was the visa fees, but we also need to pay a USCIS visa processing fees. This is on top of what's already been paid at the embassy.

No you don't.

Hello Gentle Readers !

Reminder - K-1 visa holders NEVER, ever pay fees at ELIS. That's for CR-1/IR-1, CR-2/IR-2, IR-5. Plus some F2 others. But NEVER for a K-1 Visa Holder.

If'n you want a green card? Must to:

1] marry in USA

2] File for adjustment of status [we've a guide for that]

Go Get Em, and Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Psst! K-1 is NOT an immigrant visa. There is not a fee for non-immigrant visas
