we generally only argue with a misunderstanding because neither of us are completely fluent in each other's language.

once we stop and explain it completely, we usually go "ooooooooooh THATs what you meant!" and are okay.

;)

yeh...we have had those moments too........and we both speak English.....apparently

We used to argue about how quickly Claudeth could spend money :P

Same here. On my recent trip to Thailand my wife wanted to buy stuff for everyone. One day she wanted to buy blankets for poor people. I said "Are you trying to turn us into poor people?"

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

My humble advice would be that it's ok as long as both of you have a sense of humor about it and nobody is so self-righteous that they can't handle being, or admitting they're, wrong.

Everyone (men and ladies) do yourselves a favor - read

  • Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.
  • Männer sind vom Mars, Frauen von der Venus. (German)

(also available on audio cd and sometimes on mp3)

Or do nothing and maybe wish you did later.

So don't say you weren't warned...

It's a policy.....we only ever argue about stupid stuff (politics etc ) important stuff we discuss........we have had amazing rows and laughed about it the next day.....that's the great thing about arguing about stupid stuff.......just depends on your defination of 'stupid stuff' I guess...

That's a great approach! :yes::thumbs:

I have known my fiancee for over a year now. we decided to be exclusive in september. i spent 6 weeks with her in her contry during christmas and new years. we argued a few times but nothing serious. but since i have come back we have argued quite a bit about stupid things that dont mean a whole lot. im just wondering if any of you have expirianced this too.

why argue about stupid things?

you argue because she loves you and this chit with the immigration progress is hellish..

so tell her you love her 1001 times and spoil her then things will get better. lonelyness is a killer :(

Never argued? Really ?. I'm amazed.

Anyway. Well, there was that time when he was consumed by world of warcraft online too much :bonk:

But I got it even by playing the sims2 too much.

With the years passing by we're getting better to settle our differences and we don't argue that much.
