Hi All,

I have been a silent reader of this post since the past couple of months so I felt I should update my information here. I am January 2016 filer for I-751 and my NOA date was January 11th. After waiting for such a long period, I finally got approval letter. It is dated Feb 15th 2017; though the website status is not updated yet, and still shows the same old message.

I received my I-797 (NOA) extending my residency today, 01/19, dated 01/14 which includes one holiday (MLK 01/18), my check was also cashed today. I'm very impressed, I thought it was going to be week

I'm not familiar with exactly how this works, but I've seen people on here mention being able to get a walk in appointment prior to their scheduled date. I think you might have to already have received the biometrics letter though. If you try searching around on VJ you may be able to find more details on that option

Thanks very much! I forgot about the walk-in. I'll keep my eye out for the Bio letter. Already we just have three weeks from tomorrow Thursday that we could go (if I can get off work!). Thanks again, keep you posted.

Yes finally!:wub:  Received my approval letter today -   which says  Date of Decision : 02/21/2017.

They are now working for us guys so anytime soon you will receive your approval letter too.  Just hang on there.

Sept.21,2012 - Hubby received a call from USCIS Lady doing a "PHONE INTERVIEW".
Sept.24,2012- Received Text & Email " CASE APPROVED"
Sept.26,2012- Hubby still went to his INFO PASS appointment to asked further assitance for the next stage.

Nov.21,2013- DS-260 submitted
Dec.9,2013 - AOS & IV package sent
Dec.13,2013- False checklist received. Called NVC to confirm and they said just ignore it. Its like a confirmation
they received our documents.
Jan.14,2014 - Called NVC and heared our document was reviewed Jan.9 - and we got a checklist
on AOS & IV.

Jan.15,2014- Received official email checklist

Jan.15,2014- Responded to IV checklist in the afternoon. Sending my NBI CLEARANCE (again) Thru FedEx.

Jan 17,2014- NVC received FedEx document at 9:40a.m. signed by G.Peters

Jan 17,2014- Hubby took a half day off at work to dropped off personally to the lawyer's office, a checklist on his
AOS.

Jan.21,2014- IV checklist reviewed

Jan. 29,2014- AOS checklist reviewed

Feb. 20, 2014 - CASE COMPLETE

Feb. 27, 2014 - Received Official Email..Case Complete

Feb, 28, 2014 - Received P4

La Isla Bonita same for me! Got approval letter and decision was on same date. I think you and I have almost the exact same timeline! FYI my status online did not change. Hang on everyone, letters should arrive soon!

I've also been a silent lurker - filing date Jan 26th to VSC, I just received my letter today, dated Feb 23rd.

 

Has anyone received their card yet? I have plans to travel overseas in April and an infopass appointment next week to get a stamp just in case.

27/12/2012 - Married in the UK and moved in together in Dubai

30/03/2013 - sent I-130 packet to Chicago lockbox
08/04/2013 - packet received

Congratulations! My husband filed in Feb 2016 and still waiting. May I ask what you submitted as evidence?

 We submitted all the financial stuff we could - joint ownership of our home and our business (city tax records), joint bank account, joint health/dental insurance for us and our son, auto insurance, utility bills as proof of us both living at the same address. We also included plane tickets (printed out email confirmations) of trips we had taken together and some photos. We had a lot of evidence. I understood that the financial stuff was the most valuable so we really emphasised that. I kind of get the sense that our file sat untouched until really recently! I had an infopass appointment in September and they told me my packet hadn't been touched.

13/08/2011 - met in Nicaragua

Im sure yours will be on its way soon. I thought the letter i received was a reply from that time i made an inquiry online about my status which they said i will hear from them by March 20 something ( forgot the exact date). I know you did an info Pass ahead of me and also inquired online ahead of me. 

 

I am now going over the test for Citizenship. Wow! 100 questions.  I will study and start gathering all requirements needed and once ready apply before the year ends.

 

Dont be sad.  VSC is now working so anytime soon you be next to receive the approval letter.
