Congrats everyone on the recent approvals!!

I think we've climbed the highest mountain of this process - the getting them to U.S. part. Now, we just got some little mountains downhill and we should be golden!!

Let's keep our thread active and going for support during the upcoming AOS process as that process is more universal now and not country-specific :)

Best idea today! Fiancé is going crazy unable to work here... Three weeks here today and it seems just RIGHT that he's here!! Wedding is 16 days away... Then submission of the AOS PAPERWORK and get him working!!!

Best idea today! Fiancé is going crazy unable to work here... Three weeks here today and it seems just RIGHT that he's here!! Wedding is 16 days away... Then submission of the AOS PAPERWORK and get him working!!!

We're barely on day 2 of her being here! Hahaha!! My fiancée is a stylist though and I have a couple friends getting married soon too so she already got asked to do hair & makeup for their wedding court... she's super excited already for that :)

welp... I am in Administrative Processing again. Does this normally happen after the visa is approved at the interview? How long does it normally take till it goes to issued?? i don't like this waiting game :clock:

Our interview was on a Tues and the status stayed as "Ready" until that Thursday it went from "Ready" to "Issued". By Mon I had the emails with the tracking numbers.

A/P can mean they might just be taking a little longer to get all your docs ready and the Visa issued.

i was in AP for 3 minutes. I refreshed and it went to issued.. that gave me a mini heart attack

When i went for my interview he asked me about our wedding and I told him we had nothing planned for certain but that if everything went and the visa was issued we had planned to get married around the 18th of June, nothing fancy or big since we don't have time to prepare for that, just friends and food and a party! And that answer was perfectly acceptable.

I don't think they assume that you will have your wedding all planned out because you will not have all that much time to plan it.

the example form on VJ says N/A... did you do the same? or one has to select intend or do not???
