yes, that's what i did. I print out another one filled it out again and sent it to my husband. Just in case i didnt want to take any chances of them asking for something that he didnt have.

Yeah I guess I will have to do the same but both of them since we have a joint sponsor.

Thanks a lot.

This might sting you a little bit but all i have seen is usually the IR/CR visa are given priority over F1/F2 and so on in terms of interview dates... you can expect your interview letter end of January to First week of Feb... also the dates for F category usually i have seen is toward End of month.... But again it's just what i have learned from this forum people reporting there cases there is no proof of this...

Thanks for ur info, yeah seems true

Congrats to all of you who got VISA APPROVAL ...If any of you who had their interview already can tell me if you had to take your affidativ of support with you, even though you filled it with NVC? OR was anyone asked for it at the interview ?

You don't need to bring a copy of the i-864 to the interview, they already have the original you sent to NVC. Plus a copied i-864 is useless anyway because all documents need to have an original signature.

Sometimes, the embassies do ask the beneficiary to bring a new i-864 to the interview, especially so if you're using assets.

Hi! I'm wondering if someone can clear up something for me. The consulate gas received our cr1 package and we are waiting to receive mail from them. Can you tell me if it will be packet 3, or packet 4? I've read here that packet 3 is only for k1 visas because it asks for things that cr1 applications send to the NVC. Is this true? Should we expect packet 3 or 4?

So sorry to hear of your roller coaster ride of horrors. So you are saying the documents are in English? I guess I don't get what the issue is than.

Right now NVC is working on week of 12/7 and case complete.

Hi Dwheels76,

Thank u for taking time to respond to my queries. I was frustrated for the last 2 weeks and do stopped checking the status. I've managed to speak to a supervisor last week but she said I have to wait etc. But she also said they would call my husband when the case is complete. And so they did today. On a Saturday morning, a call from NVC saying my case is complete. I'm not sure if I will get my green card approved but this is the best news I've heard in 4 months. Thank you so much for your help. May God bless you. NVC took 7 months to complete my case.
