Congratualtions on your NOA1 AH88, I just got my NOA1 hardcopy today, its at TSC.

Not sure if people know, its a really rough estimate, but if you add you NOA1 date to your timeline, when you view your timeline at the bottom of the table you'll find something like mine:

Based on timeline data your I-130 may be adjudicated between May 11 2016 and May 26th 2016

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! :)

Hey guys and Happy New Year. I have been waiting to get the I-797C to check the status online. well I finally received it and it gave me the priority date of 12/23/15 which is great, but my receipt number is not noticeable within the USCIS status update system, what should I do? should I wait another week and see what happen or should I call them on Monday and see whats going on?

I'm having the same problem. I'm guessing with the holidays they might not have been able to update it yet. Let's wait till Wednesday and then call?

Hey guys so my timeline says:

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between January 22, 2016 and January 31, 2016*.

So is this can be true? I mean isn't it too early? I really checked out and it takes like 3-4 months or smth. But this says so. That's because California Service Center?

So even though I got a message on the USCIS website saying the document they sent to me was returned (the NOA1, I'm assuming, almost certain) and I contacted them and changed my address to my parents one in the States (since I live abroad), I asked my mom to check when her check to them was cashed and she told me Dec 2nd. I'm guessing this means they are still working on my case and I can expect an NOA2 at some point?! Hoping. Being patient....

Hi Blanche, was starting to wonder if we lost you :D I just got back from ringing in 2016! You did get the email about receiving the NOA1 right? So they'll work on your case. Your mother will get the NOA1 hardcopy hopefully soon. I would have her scan the NOA1 and email it to you so you can make sure all the information on it is correct. I mean you sure don't want to correct any misspelled names or addresses and stuff, cause if you don't do it now it'll get processed with the wrong information.

NOA1 - 12/21/15

NOA2 - 04/18/16

NVC Receive - 04/29/16

NVC Welcome - 05/13/16

DS-261 - 05/14/16

AOS, IV PAID - 05/27/16

DS260 done - 06/10/16

Case Transferred to US Embassy in Riga Latvia at the end of October.

If you really want it, you'll find a way!

Welcome Fatigo and Caleb Joshua

Fatigo,

yes it is because of California Service center, but that's where it gets a little weird. CSC didn't have a huge backlog of cases to process at the time of that' list. I believe the lockboxes try to send cases to the center with the smallest backlog to try to even out the processing times.

So I don't know, who is to say that by now CSCs backlog may have increased so CSC's processing times could have got slower. But keep the fingers crossed you never know! :D

AH88

You're welcome, yes there're a bunch of tidbits that you find out the hard way. I happened to learn some of them in the past when I was trying to do the K-1 visa (which we didn't finalize), for my now wife.

My interview was on the 4th Dec 2015, and to date my case as been updated 5 times but still I. AP. After the interview the Co said my case was approved but I needed to submit an additional piece of document which I did a few days after. I was also informed by the embassy that the document was received and they will continue to process my visa. My question is. Is this the usual? And is there anyone who have been through similar situation? And how long did it take to get the visa?
