Only a Parent, spouse or sibling can petition you to live & work here

To visit you can apply for tourist visa , this you must gain on your

own merits proving reasons to go back home, strong ties to your county

like wife, kids, property, business & good bank balance (no guarantees)

This visa does not allow you to live or work here, neither would you be able

to get a job without the proper documents especially with the current climate

Apply for a job here / try the cruise ship industries / they are always looking to people with knowlegde of several languages

they will help with work visas

if you get a contract they fly you to the port and back home

they always need people with strong education backgraound

Having uncle here will not help. In fact, it can only hurt you. The only option for you is visitor visa (on your own merit). However, you already mentioned that you want to live in US. Thus, visitor visa is not an option since you already showed immigrant intent.

To visit you need a Visitor visa

To study you need a Student visa

To work you need a Work visa, you need to find an Employer who will sponsor you.

Hi, I am American and I have been dating a Brazilian girl since August of this year when she was working as an AuPair in Minnesota. She went home about a month into us knowing each other and got a tourist Visa and came back after being home in Brazil for about a month and a half. Her tourist Visa lasts through April but she only has enough money to be here through February. What are the options we have to make it possible to spend more time together and see where the relationship goes? She has a IT degree from a Brazilian University and has worked for the Brazilian government before she came here to Minnesota as an AuPair. She is 26 so she can't AuPair for another year. We talked about a student Visa where she could study English but then it becomes an issue with money because she said she doesn't think she can legally work with a student Visa. Money and housing are our biggest issues. I am not sure what the other possible options are and I would appreciate any ideas or help anyone can give me. Also let me know if you need anymore info from me.
