I just took a picture of my husband in front of a white wall, cropped it to 2x2 and tiled them on an 8x10 canvas in Photoshop and had it printed at Walmart, then cut them out.

12 photos for $2.50

I was really going to do this - but we went out on Saturday and I figured we would just stop at Walgreen's again and get two more sets of passport photos because I found a $2 off coupon online. That brought the cost to about $22 for four. Then we stopped at Sam's Club where as soon as we walked in, I saw that we could have gotten a pair for $5 each.............

We received our NOA hardcopies tonight too!

Now whenever my husband is ready, we will take him to the driving license office, take his written test and remove his limited term status! He has the practical test the end of next month, so perhaps his name change might be done in time!

I love the progress here! Don't worry, end of month filers, the working days will come back soon after these holidays!

Hey guys!! I got my learners permit today :D

Just wanted to let everyone know, the I-797c (noa1) is not the same as the I-797 (noa2). Until you have a I-797 or a work permit, they can't do anything for you if yourlande i94 is expired. :)))))

Oh God yes the price of the passport photos cost so much! I was shocked and my hubby was complaining about the price. We could've bought a printer and photo print it ourselves! A printer cost 39 dollars for a standard one.

I paid 45.54 US DOLLARS for 8 pictures at CVS!

Just an update to everyone, I have called up USCIS to enquire about my missing AP NOA. They have actually mailed out 3 NOAs but somehow I guess the mail for AP went missing. But USCIS said that as long as I have received 3 receipt numbers it is fine, and on biometrics it will not affect even though there are only 2 bar codes. Like what other posters said, EAD and AP come together as one.

I took a picture with a cam at home, printed. I'm sure it didn't cost $45.54.

From what I experienced, because the lady was really nice and she tried everything to get me the longest time possible on my learners, it gets calculated over the system and the system works with the i94. I showed her my i797c (noa1) and the system didn't register it so she couldn't use that :( sorry. She told me to come back with the NOA2 i797 because usually people get that faster than ead and then she can extend it.
