NVC reviewed our case today and disappointingly we got a checklist. I haven't received any emails from them yet, but according to the representative, the below issues were found;

- AOS was not signed in black ink and therefore declined

- Require 2014 W2 although transcripts and returns were submitted

- Co-sponsor needs to file 2014 taxes. We provided a letter explaining why it hadn't been done, but this was declined

According to NVC, once we send off the additional paperwork, it will be yet another 30-45 days to review so needless to say, I am pretty devastated at the moment.

Hoping everyone else gets more positive news soon!

Sorry to hear this Rickey&Char . Dont be down, just start working on getting these docs and submit them as soon as you can. I honestly dont remember what ink I used to sign my AOS, but hopefully it was black. Also , I submitted letter of employment to satisfy the current employment instead of W2s.

Good luck to everyone

I guess the only good thing about my slacking lawyer is he hasn't emailed our documents over to NVC yet. I sent him a revised AOS document this morning, signed in black to be on the safe side. Another thing he should of caught and told me about. :ranting:

if you filed 864ez and above poverty line and do not have any joint sponsor, you do not need to submit w2 or any tax returns. IRS transcript is required though...just read it on 864 instruction

I am excited to hear at least some news from NVC is happening, it means they are looking at all your guys cases. :) It's almost getting comical that our AOS/IV paperwork hasn't even been emailed to NVC yet. Love to hear our Lawyer's excuse this week, oh wait he doesn't call or email back! :protest:

Today is the day, (so our lawyer says). Finally our AOS/IV paperwork were emailed (EP) to NVC today! Since I can't track when NVC received it via UPS, when do you think I can call NVC to verify they received our documents (scan date)? I really don't feel like I can count on my lawyer to fill me in on anything, his communication is awful. I finally feel like we are apart of the race again. :joy:

Great News Cosmos. yeah once you confirm your scan date , you are better of tracking it yourself after that. Yes , you are back to the race and with the advantage of the EP , you might beat us
