My scan date is 12/14, so they are definitely taking longer than 30 days. I have called them everyday since we hit the 30 day mark and as at 2 minutes ago, they still haven't reviewed our case.. According to NVC, they have until 1/29 to review our case.

Ok, good to know. I thought there were many scan dates mid to end December. Hope you get your cc sooon.

Anyone else out there with scan date in December ?

JD that is the question of the year, why hasn't he done anything in a timely matter!? The 260 form was ready last Friday. Wrote him an email Friday about electronic processing, no response. Called an hour ago, "he can't take my call right now, can he call you back this afternoon". I am beyond annoyed! We are about to fill my husbands IV form out ourselves. We just don't know what to do :(

P.S I even gave NVC my email address over the phone, I never have received one email from them. All goes to my lawyer. Errr

I get really mad when I hear your story and this lawyer. The positive thing is that you are not way behind and you will probably catch up with everyone but this is the last step and he needs to get his act together.

Thank you Abood! It is beyond frustrating to say the least. Of course another day down and he NEVER returned my call this afternoon. So over him and this lack of communication and service. :(

Your lawyer is making me cuss now. This is just unethical. I know in their world they are doing things right. And there's no fast, slow button for them. But it's not right.

No hurry with the DS-260. The bigger thing is the documents being sent in. Can;t wait to hear why he hasn't yet. Why he doesn't know about EP.

See this is why I tell people lawyers know law not documents or procedure.

Sorry COSMOS. :ranting::protest:

My lawyer just called me back, 8:30pm EST. His excuse, he has been training paralegals this week. ERR. Anyway he just send my husband instructions to look over his IV application and add anything they couldn't answer. Question is can I fill out everything for my husband? He is so nervous to mess it up. And if I can, do I log in as the petitioner or as him, the applicant? I know he must do the actual signing and submission himself when we are finished and ready to sent it off to NVC. Another thing, my lawyer said he would absolutely EP for us and should be done my end of this week or next week the latest. I hope he isn't lying, I just got our hopes up a bit that we will actually have our paperwork sent out after over a month delay! :)

When you are filling out the DS-260 form online for him, you are signed in as the petitioner and when he electronically signs and submits it, he is signed in as the principle applicant. Save it straight after you've finished so he can just log in and submit it. ;)
