Hi, I'm currently processing my AOS, AP and AED. Also got a receipt notice from USCIS. We are planning to do a church wedding in the Philippines in April. Once my AP is approved, am I allowed to travel outside the USA or it's should only be used for emergency purposes? Thanks for the help!

You can travel with your AP. I traveled to Guatemala with my family in sept 2015 using my AP and valid passport. No questions asked after I return back to SFO airport.

AP by law is supposed to be single use only. However at the POEs as long you have the I-94 with the parole stamp then they usually let you back in.

That's not what I've heard. Emergency AP is single use but the AP card is for more than one trip. You can use it as much as you want for a year.

Are you talking about the EAC card that says "Also serves as an I-512 parole"? If yes then that card act as a visa. You are supposed to get an I-94 with a parole stamp with DA/AOS annotated. If airport maybe jus the stamp. That we allow for multiple entries. I work at the land border but maybe airport is different.

I do not know, I haven't used my EAD card yet. I have a stamp in my passport saying I'm paroled until 2016 because I used an Emergency AP, I guess that's the stamp you're referring too.

What law, according to you, says it's for single use only? Seems like not everyone knows about this since I've been told by the immigration officers that it's for multiple use.
