Since you are a USC and she is underage, she'll fall into the IR1 category. Currently, there is no wait times. So as soon as your I-130 petition is approved, you can continue processing at NVC.

teeak is right, since she is under 21 years old, and daughter of a US Citizen, she qualifies as an Immediate Relative (IR), therefore she doesn't need to wait any EXTRA time...

However, it will take some time to complete the whole process, which consists of two-parts... the initial process with the USCIS (using the Form I-130 petition), then if approved, the case is transferred to the National Visa Center (NVC), and then the NVC transfers it to the Embassy/Consulate in Guatemala where she would have to go to an interview and get her visa/green card stamped there.

The current processing time for the initial I-130 petition depends on what service center your case gets sent to, I have been hearing other posters here on VJ say 2 months to 6 months, depending on the center.

Then the second part of the process is shorter with 1-2 months depending on you getting all the documents you need and sending them as soon as you can.

Here is a list of what I have gather so far

I -130 completed

Copy of my certificate of naturalization

Copy of my daughter birth certificate with translation

Few pictures

Copy of my US Passport

Check for $420

Her mom past away In 2008

We were not married , she was born out of wedlock

Is there anything else that I need to include in the package ?

Are you on her birth certificate? You have to actually prove that you are her father.

Also, in the case of a child born out of wedlock (the parents were not married at the time the child was born). If the father is filing the petition, proof of a bona fide (real and established) relationship with the father must be supplied.
