Hi smcf333.

My lawyer didn't send the form to get text/email so I downloaded the uscis App from the android market on my phone and I got the update notification from it. Then I checked the uscis website to make sure and it states the same.

10/05 usps mail delivered

10/14 checks cashed

10/19 got 3 NOA for 485, 131 and 765 under my name and the NOA for 130 under my husband's name. It says in all the notices that our applications were received on 10/6 and the notice date is 10/13.

10/23 received biometric appointment for 11/5 at USCIS Chatsworth, CA

10/28 I tried walk in and they let me do biometrics at uscis Chatsworth, CA ☺..

I'm kinda nervous though because some of my fingers are deformed and the man who did my fingerprints was having a hard time getting the fingerprints right. Just praying that they go through ok and that I don't have to go back again. ?

11/02 just got this update for my 485 application:

Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

As of November 2, 2015, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I'm surprised how fast I got this... Anyone else got this update already? ?

I just mailed by Adjustment of Status for my Wife to the Chicago Lox Box. It arrived according to my USPS tracking # on Thursday October 29, 2015. How long can I expect to wait before my first Notice of Action from USCIS of receipt of my package? Some say 7 days?

Hey Flex.. I sent mine on Oct 27 and got it Monday night :)

At least just a typo

I hope we're good after that and next letter I'm going to get is interview appointment

It looks my RFE was an error on there part. I am only filing as a petitioner and not a joint sponsor on my i-864. I did correctly check the 1a box in part 1. I did a walk in today at my local USCIS office. But the walk in counter couldn't correct it without talking to an actual officer so i had to make an infopass appointment for nov 18. :(

Yes that's why i and the people at the USCIS office believe it was an error on there part. The RFE said the name on page 1 and page 3 didn't match. When we looked at it the names matched exactly verbatim (first, middle and last name) and was filled out correctly. The second point said we were filing as a joint sponsor. In fact we are filing with only one sponsor since i had only checked 1a in part 1 question 1. Hopefully i get this sorted out soon :(
