Hi All,

I've been reading things on the site for a few days and I literally left work early to join.

Congrats to all who have had success so far.

Here's my timeline:

I-129F sent 10/22/2015

NOA1 10/26/2015

NOA2 11/23/2015

Nothing from NVC since. I have emailed, but I haven't tried calling yet, I think i will tonight.

I will be leaving to visit my Fiancee this month for Chinese New Year, so I'd like some confirmation before I go.

Searching for comments, questions, answers, advice. Mostly hope.

Thanks!

China is tuff to work with. Seems it takes a month or two after NOA2 to get your Packet 3 (interview instructions) from them.

Good luck.

Hey, your timeline looks better than mine already lol.

I called NVC exactly 10 days after my NOA2, and got my case #, so I would say definitely call them to get the case# and ask them when it will be sent to the embassy.

My case left NVC to Guangzhou since the 12/14, and I have been emailing Guangzhou IV unit, all they said is I need to wait to receive the P3, but at least they did confirm my case was received by them.

So yea, start calling :clock:

Thanks, after visiting frequently and working with China for the past few years, I know most ordinary business can be tough. So I expect the same in this process.

Glad to see there's a group of GUZ consulate petitioners here.

We received our P3 and Approved I-129F today (1/7/16).

Our case was switched from "ready" to "administrative processing" on Dec 30th and was then updated with the same headline on Jan 6th, same day P3 was sent.

Hope to see more P3 arrivals soon!

Figure I add to this October post.... Every time I call about our NOA2, they keep telling me to wait 5-7 months. Been over two now. I had no idea waiting for this is so stressful. :crying: I do find some encouragement here from people. No idea what I do without this site.

People that applied a month before us, before they started sending applications to California, were stuck with the horribly overloaded Texas office. Their wait times are almost a year to get an adjudicated I-129F. That's what we always tell ourselves when the waiting stresses us out, at least we were transferred to California. Thankfully we're both working a lot of hours now, makes the days apart go by faster.

Don't stop calling and don't wait for 5-7 months. You need a supervisor to explain the hold up. If you are getting no where then send email to the Ombudsman at cisombudsman@HQ.DHS.GOV

"The Ombudsman provides an impartial and independent perspective to USCIS in an attempt to resolve problems"

If you get nowhere there then contact your congress people. Don't be passive with your application.
