Hey guys! Don't let stress overwhelm you.

When we were waiting for the NOA2 I was getting depressed because people with a NOA1 later than us were getting approved.

I was having doubts: is it because my fiancé is divorced, is it because I'm Mexican, is it because of my age?????

The moment I stopped looking constantly, that is when the approval came through. 37 days it took.

For what I have seen, and without being an expert, if your case is rejected it is pretty quick. Either you payed the wrong fee, you filed the wrong forms, you didn't sign it etc. , etc.

The only two options left if either an approval or an RFE and both of them mean the case isn't rejected!!! So don't worry and keep the positive thoughts.

We are all in the same path and I wish you all a soon Approval!!!

Save yourself the headache of always checking by getting the free smartphone app that checks for you. If you don't get a text from it then nothing has changed. What's better than that. You'll are just driving yourself crazy. I know your excited but, every hour of every day. Keep yourself busy. You'll be surprised how much more relaxed you are and there is nothing you can do to speed it up. The app will tell you right away when a change has taken place on your case.

Patience is what we need the most. The only tip I can give you is don't think about it too much. That's when you least expect it and you will have an approval . I was approved after 40 days.

Hey Greenbaum,

I went into your webpage and noticed you shared there the image I posted of our NOA2 e-notification.

I have no problem with you sharing it, since my case number and email is blackened, and you have been very nice and very helpful. However it would have been nice for you to let me know ahead of time, you wanted to use it, before you posted it, so it didn't come as a surprise.

I read what you wrote with it and wanted to clarify that on MyUSCIS we created an account and activated the email alerts. I'm thinking that probably that is the reason why we got the email as soon as our case was approved, and why many other didn't get this e-notification. The G-1145 might only cover the NOA1 e-notification.

Hope you can share this with others.

Hi Everyone,

we just got our NOA2, just now... we are so happy that we finally received the notice of approval. I don't know the next step after this I am still wallowing with the happiness I am feeling right now.. sigh of relief that it is not an RFE afterall... Thank you all for your support and guidance... this support system is soo fabulous! I cannot thank you all enough...

Don't be sad Francesca. Just respond to it real fast and they'll get to it right away after they receive what additional stuff they're asking from you.
