This question is for petitioners and K-1 Visa applicants whom have completed the K-1 visa process. The status of my fiance's visa indicates "Reday" on the ceac.state.gov website. I am believe that "Ready" status means that the visa has been approved and the visa issuance process is complete and that my fiance should be expecting to receive her K-1 Visa soon. I this so? I just want to make sure.

You are already done with your interview? Then .... Nope, doesn't mean that at all. READY means the file is ready for the next person to review it. When it is finally approved CEAC will show ISSUED.

That's the wrong site. On the approval paper from the interview it lists the correct site. (If you got a approval letter the day of your interview).

Go to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/do_es/index.html?firstTime=No Log in and it will show when it is ready on your dashboard.

Hope that helps.

We just had our interview on 9/23 and the visa was issued on 9/28, that was the DR

CEAC is a good site for checking status, even after the interview. it is not a wrong site.

Ready only means the case is ready for an interview appointment to be schedule..

There are still a few other steps left

Wait for Packet 3 with instructions to do the followings:

Pay for the visa

schedule your medical at Saint Luke

fill our your DS160 form online

then schedule your interview appointment

You cannot schedule your interview appointment before you pay for the visa..

Mine shows ready too and will pay for the visa soon..

Good luck

Actually, Ceac shows ready multiple times.

Between NVC and Interview

After Administrative Processing AFTER the interview (it switches to non-immigrant "Ready") - Approved

It basially goes like this-

In Transit (Immigrant)

Ready (Immigrant)

Administrative Processing (Non-Immigrant)

Issued (Non-Immigrant)

These CAN vary slightly depending on what happens with your interviews. But this is what you look for.

Call the NVC and get your MNL# so you don't have to wait for packet 3 which usually never comes because Philpost is not reliable. See my website below for additional steps you can be taking now. The link is at the twisting arrow. Your wasting time waiting when you can be proactive and save 2 months off the processing time.

Our case number shows "ready" on CEAC website too, but I have not yet gone to the visa interview. Our file has just reached the consulate!

Has your fiancee finished her visa interview already?

If you look at his time line you will see that he hasn't received his NOA2 yet, so no he has not had the interview yet.

CEAC is the best sight to check for processing through the Philippines. Your link leads him to the steps to determine what visa he should apply to and he has already submitted is application to USCIS and is waiting for his NOA2. Besides your link is in Spanish and the Philippines is not a Spanish speaking nation.

Ready means that the visa is at the embassy or is sent to the embassy. Next step is to go to the embassy for the interview.

The process for the Philippines is different. The beneficiary needs to pay the visa fee and then schedule the appointment online. They do not go to the Embassy at this stage.

Ready only means the case is ready for an interview appointment to be schedule..

Your steps are out of whack.

Don't wait for P3 as it never arrives

First call NVC and get your MNL#

Then go on line and print off your visa fee payment receipts

Go to the bank and pay the fee

Wait 24 hours then go online and schedule your interview appointment

Complete your DS-160

Start gathering your documents for the interview (use the Embassy Letter for you checklist)

Once you have schedule your interview date then about 7-10 business days prior to your interview go to SLEC and complete your medical

There are more steps in the process so I invite anyone that once the steps to completing your journey in the Philippines use the link below at the twisting arrow.

It is the correct site because you log in to your account and on your dashboard it gives you every step of your case from start to finish and it lists all the dates as your items were processed. As far as the language you select the area of your country on the map that comes up and you can choose the correct language for that part of the world from the drop down menu. I just went through this process on Monday and I have the approval paperwork from the interviewer at the embassy with that site listed as to check when the visa is ready. Santo Domingo does everything online maybe the Phillipines are different..

I just used your link and it is in Spanish and therefore for me and many others we could not get past that first landing page. Can you find it in English and post the link here. I for one would like to visit the sight and learn more about it. You may have get the chance to teach me something new but for now it doesn't work for me.

The Philippines does everything online also.

Thanks.

The DO in the link you provided is the country code for DR//////////this is for the DR only so it is not the right link for them. Countries that use usatraveldocs each have their own webpage....and each are setup slightly different.

Ours is at ready still also. But it's a little different than what is posted above.

In transit (immigrant)

Ready (immigrant)

Administrative processing (immigrant) *

Ready (immigrant) *

*our medical was completed after the interview ceac updated the same day as the interview, then again after submitting the medical.

So if I follow the post above, I need to wait for all the non immigrant updates?
