Comments : We received an email 11/12/15 from the embassy finally giving us an answer and reason for the denial we received on 10/17/15. We were denied due to something in his court records, however we are eligible for a waiver so we are still in this. I will of course update as I know anything more!

Update January 6th 2017: We are still waiting on our I601 waiver. We have not given up hope and are still pushing.

Update February 9th 2017: Our I-601 waiver was approved yesterday! We can finally move on to second interview and hopefully the final approval for his visa!
Update February 27th 2017: Second Interview took place and we got an instant approval! He finally gets to come home!
Update June 27th 2017: He flew home on the 16th of March! We had our wedding on the 27th of May!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
