hi all, is a 5 years age gap between me( beneficiary) and petioner( female USC) going to be a challenge for our k1 interview? she doesn't look her age at all..she's 31 and I'm 26..in fact I look older than her and I genuinely love her

I'm almost 6 years older than my husband and it never came up. Just make sure you have evidence of an ongoing relationship with intentions to marry.

It's different for everyone and each Consulate wants to see different evidence. He took Skype logs, pictures of us together when he visited for the holidays, pics of us with my family, receipts from my engagement ring, and our wedding bands. I would encourage you to research on the country specific boards what the Consulate you'll be interviewing at looks for.

We have the large gap but to be honest, it is not fair in the US to discriminate for age / i know immigration does but it is actually against the constitution

your age gap of 5 years is nothing compared to the old men in Florida of 70 and 80 marrying young women of 19 and 20 and getting a visa

10 years between us and i have never even seen that as a problem at all. Pretty sure you can ignore a 5 year difference haha. There are other stuff to focus on than someting like that

5 years are no issue, even for the Ghana embassy. Frequent visits and a well rounded quality evidence package showing how your relationship

grew over time is important. You should front load if you haven't filed yet.

5 years is nothing AT ALL. Pretty common. My husband is five years older than me. you should not worry about it. evidence of relationship: tons of pics of you and her with family, hotel receipts, wedding plans, etc. Prove to them that you have is real and do it by any means necessary. you'll be fine.

it's 10+ years between me and my husband now look at the picture and tell me who's the oldest age isn't nothing but, a number if you truly LOVE the person

I just submitted our I-129F and I am 17 years older than my fiancé. He looks older and I look younger than our actual ages. I am going to let our pictures and proof of visits speak for themselves. We also have phone calls, texts, Skype, WhatsApp messages and such to show an ongoing relationship. In a year we have seen each other 4 times and I am going there again in November staying at a hotel- more proof. So.... 5 years should be no issue.
