Holy smokes, I have an interview!!!

Just called the NVC, haven't gotten a confirmation e-mail yet, and the lady told me I have an interview on October 6th. I can't believe it!

2 weeks since CC for us. I emailed on Friday about expediting for medical reasons. I'm hoping we weren't about to get our interview and then I've actually messed us up by requesting the expedite.

No info out there about our consulate, seems Vj gets 2 people a year for Croatia about 6 months apart, so no way to really build stats.

I am the petitioner, he still lives overseas

Most recent update: Interviewed on 05-OCT 2015. Approved and visa in hand!!!

VISA APPROVED!!!

It was a fast process, we had all the documents that they told us to bring and we don't had any problem. On the interview, the consul asked me about when we married and how whe met, and some simplu questions that we don't had any doubt to make a fast answer.

Thanks a lot to all ofyou for helping me with the questions that i had all this time that take the entire process!!

Hi "fatty1011 and Magazine" - my wife's appt also on Oct 1st.. Took appt for biometrics on Sept 30.. got medical appt for 21st sept and will get results the same day...am still deciding on accommodation.. please share if you guys find any good one.. thanks in advance

How did you schedule a medical appointment? Where are the instructions for this?

My wife is in kerala.. She called directly to the authorized physician hospital/office in Kerala and got an appt. They also mentioned the required documents which are same as the provided instructions by US consulate Mumbai - Use the link below for the instructions:

For anyone scheduled for interview at Mumbai consulate, do you need the interview letter to bring to the biometrics and medical exam, or just the interview is sufficient?

Wondering if we can go ahead and do the medical exam without the interview letter or even case complete, does anyone know if this is possible?

I've seen this as well. I was hoping there would be a way around needing the interview letter to schedule appointment for category 1. But it seems there is not
