Very frustrating, and I definitely can't see a date where it was "touched" :(

Hello there! Did you guys create an account and are logged in? You need to have an account for you to see when your case was last touched, as opposed to just entering the receipt # on the status tracker page.

Sign up here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/disclaimer.do

Add your receipt number, and viola! You should see "last updated" date in the table below. You can also setup email and mobile alerts, so you will be alerted of any changes. I am the beneficiary, so I setup my email address and my fiance's mobile number. We got both alerts at the same time for our NOA-2.

Chin up, girls. Remember I waited almost 2 months. This week is going to be awesome, MORE APPROVALS TO COME!!

I am sorry if I haven't posted a lot of supporting posts, I am really being sucked up from all the entire process.

I am sorry to hear about delay and RFE, I know what it is like to wait forever.

I am a super frustrating person, I gotta say not having a job, doesn't help at all.

I started to learn guitar for spending time in somehow (by myself)!! So, I understand it.

I gotta say I feel lucky so far. Really.

I am with all of you, and I'll pray for a faster process for everybody, I have faith everything will be fine and great and even better than that.

New approvals we'll come soon. :)

Hello September Filers!! My case was received September 23rd, and my NOA1 came less than a week later. This week, I got nervous after calling for an update and being told I could expect 5 months prior to hearing back  . However, it seems 30-50 days is what I am seeing many people post. I really hope it takes <2 months versus 5! They are not kidding when they say you need plenty of patience for this process! Hoping the process is going well for everyone else! :goofy:

I just called the USCIS and was told case was received September 25, 2015 and the processing time is 5 months for California service center. I asked her why they process some of them in less than a month and she said it's case by case basis and also depends on who is processing your case (Some work faster than others).

The entire process should take 5-6 months. If they are saying up to 5 months just to get a NOA2, then something is really amiss here!

Actually, the 5mo's is their standard go to for USCIS. Can and do cases get processed faster? Yes, can they take 5mo's or more? Yes, its really a case by case basis. What country your fiance is coming from also plays a part in all that. I know it can be frustrating waiting. We are all in the same boat. Some parts of the process will move very fast and some very slow and it is different for everyone where that seems to speed up or slow down. We will all get there, we just have to have patience and work on the things we can do and let go of the stress over the things that we can't.

My friend, who has a case WAY more complicated than mine, submitted all the information recommended (as in she did not wait for the NOA2) along with her I-129 form last week of July. They are scheduled for a consulate interview in second week November (but were cleared for interview as soon as mid October. She sent hers to Texas and got rerouted to California like myself and many others. I think her preemptive decision to submit finances, taxes, and endless amounts of supplemental information to substantiate every aspect of her letter really helped. If I could go back to September 21st, I would have submitted everything in one lump sum, nicely organized and easy to follow (ie I-129 and then ALL supplementals, labeled). I do not think it was just luck that helped her. When I tell you her case was complicated...I mean it was complicated!! She met her fiance this summer and got engaged. It's perfectly normal per her culture but you can imagine how that would be harder to prove vs someone with 1-2 years and more of relationship proof. Perhaps engagement photos helped but still. Or perhaps I am making assumptions. I am only sharing this info to instill hope that our cases can move fast and also in case someone who has not started their case yet reads this! I do not think you get penalized for submitting extra as long as the required info is completed, visible first and the rest is orderly.

But I guess we all have to wait and see. I am hopeful that we won't have to wait 5 months!

Let's Go Septemberets!

Our petition is on its way to Manila!!! We have now completed the NVC stage! Going to be a little while until we can get her in for her interview, probably late January. Lol, you are so right. And sadly coulda-shoulda- wouldas won't change anything, so I won't fuss , but hope someone else can benefit from the information.

Your progress gives me hope, because you filed a couple weeks before me.
