Hello everyone!

It had been almost a month since I last visited this site...I got an email from CRIS today stating :

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

Yehey..finally....I will be expecting my green card within 60 days.

Last February 2, we went to USCIS Portland to make a follow-up on my AOS. It is really better talking with an immigration officer in person.

At least, I don't have to renew my EAD now.... :whistle:

Thank you again, everyone! Yes, that was indeed a long wait. At least one burden off my shoulder. Being patient with the USCIS AOS process helped and yes the pieces of advice and informations Vj'ers supply here in this site helped too.

And it also an advantage to make follow-ups in letter, through phone and Infopass. Last year, waiting for the approval or updates on my AOS really stressed me out, until the last quarter..I just decided to wait and understand the USCIS after some follow-ups and concentrated on my growth.

The visa journey is really a big support. It gives us encouragement that we are not alone in the waiting game.
