When you say a copy of the email from the embassy which email do you mean? The one that says we can schedule an appointment? Or do you mean the embassy letter of requirements saying:

"should be in the applicant’s current name, birth certificate name, maiden name and any aliases or nicknames used, including different spellings you have used of those names"

You should have an email (or letter), 221g, from the embassy stating they want the AKA name on the NBI. Check your spam filter if you do not have it. You need to give NBI a copy of that email/letter as that will be included with the AKA NBI they send to the embassy.

We didn't get a 221g but I believe they said something about email address at step 5 so I'll check with my fiancée. If needed, can we call the embassy and talk to a consulate and have the email resent? or will NBI do the paperwork by just telling them we need a new NBI AKA report using all her names including her ex's last name too?

check you spam filter with the email address you have on your profile. The embassy will require that NBI be send back to them by NBI directly.

Ok we had our interview today and we are approved!!!! Only thing is she needs to get a new NBI certificate showing her AKA name (married name also even though she kept her name and never changed it) so as soon as she gets that and sends it by 2GO her passport should be send out. Another thing I guess we missed or was not very clear is that all K2 applicants need a separate DS160 and we didn't have that so we needed to go to an internet café. (3 total DS160 forms) Next step is the CFO after her passports are back and then a plane ticket! Thanks for the help so far, still more to go though lol

wa wa - congrats !

don't forget the visa appplication fee on each child.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thanks! What do you mean by the visa application fee for each child? All 3 girls had their BPI visa receipts at the interview unless there is something else?

At step 5 in the embassy the man at the counter told us we can drop it off to a 2GO courier and they will deliver it to the embassy.

I'll check our profile on the DS160 site since that is the one they will be using I believe?

You follow the instructions the embassy gave you, if they said drop it at 2GO that is what you do. Yes check the spam filter for whatever email address the embassy has.

Don't wonder on the visa receipt, as you noted you had the BPI receipt at the interview, that is the only receipt needed. ;)

That's correct. That is the last document they need to complete your file. Remember, they will review your file one last time before the finale approval. No one can tell you how long it will take before you have your passport/visa in hand. DO NOT purchase plane tickets till you have your visa and your CFO sticker's affixed to the passport and in your hands.

Good luck, you have made it this far. Just a little more patience.

 I think you are almost there. Just follow the return instructions from the 221(g). Good luck.

Well she dropped off the NBI at 2GO today and filled out a form but she checked the nonimmigrant visa by accident and put her passport number but it is technically an immigrant visa so I hope this does not affect the delivery of the NBI report, it shouldn't since she is a K1 and they should know that
