Yes like a greenish yellow from what the picture looks like and has 2 photos of her on it. Can this be uses as a photo ID for CFO if she takes it there? Maybe the embassy will take this copy though

Yes the NBI can be used as a photo ID for CFO, been done many times before. The NBI is two parts, you keep the personal copy... this you can use at CFO

No, that is not valid as a photo ID. Yes the embassy will get the original NBI Clearance. She should keep a copy for future references.

CFO has accepted the personal copy of the NBI many times as ID

Hello again, I have a question about the CFO website. I registered my fiancée and am trying to register her children by proxy but do I use the family registration link? I was thinking so but I tried putting the reference number in from when I registered my fiancée and it is too long. Is the registration number below the barcode after registering her? 12 digit number with 10 letters and 2 numbers? If so this won't fit in the registration box. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

Ok I used the Individual / First-time Registration button and I believe that is the correct one (however it is misleading because her 2 children are family I was thinking so used the family registration link) Now after I almost filled up the first page it won't let me go past the visa number and date of issue part so I am assuming that we have to wait until after the interview to fill in the visa number/date of issue to register her 2 children proxy? She is going to the seminar a couple days after the interview so we will wait until the day after I guess? or unless we can do it after her seminar?

No you do not register the child for GCP. The child has to complete PDOS, different seminar.

Children 12 years and younger DO NOT complete the seminar, only need to be registered. Registration for them is not done online, different process, do this in person with CFO to get the sticker.

Ok kind of confusing to me but can the children go to the seminar when she goes to take care of this?(register by proxy, I didn't think they had to attend anything just register)

Yes the children can go but it is not necessary. There is only a registration for the children, as long as they are 12 and under. If they are older then they must attend PDOS. Mother does GCP. Both seminar's are given the same day and mother will take care of everything when she arrives. It's a very easy process.

Ok I was thinking that they only register online but they can go with the mother on the day of her CFO to register? They will be going with her anyways so I figure they register there, I was just trying to get ahead by registering them online.

As far as the visa interview for the K2 (children of the K1, 9 and 5 years old) any questions they will ask other than age and date of birth? We wanted to be prepared for anything. Thanks

They will not be interviewed. Theirs is only for Mom to register them and if you have their passports to get the certificate installed in each passport. Otherwise if you are doing CFO early then you will only receive a certificate of completion and hence you will return once they have their visa/passport for CFO to install the certificate in their passports.

Will they have their passports with visas at the time of CFO? If NO then you can not register the children yet, only can register them once they have their passports with visa. But, yes they can accompany their mother to CFO if she has no one to leave them with that day.

They might ask the children your name and general things, but it is fairly simple for the children. Mostly a formality... they won't deny the children and approve the mother...;)

Yes they will be interviewed at the embassy (that was his question ;) )

Ok we had our interview today and we are approved!!!! Only thing is she needs to get a new NBI certificate showing her AKA name (married name also even though she kept her name and never changed it) so as soon as she gets that and sends it by 2GO her passport should be send out. Another thing I guess we missed or was not very clear is that all K2 applicants need a separate DS160 and we didn't have that so we needed to go to an internet café. (3 total DS160 forms) Next step is the CFO after her passports are back and then a plane ticket! Thanks for the help so far, still more to go though lol

Congrats!

Yup, need to follow the embassy instructions letter, AKA is for any names used, and requirements are for each applicant ;)

The NBI will delay things slightly, so be patient a little longer

Yes! Thanks! The embassy letter was a little vague for me on that NBI paper and I sent her the Filipino version too but we will reaccomplish when she returns to her town.

Another question, what documents will my fiancée need for her CFO appointment for registering the children? Just passports with visas and that is all?

They are 9 and 5 so don't need to attend and didn't see any requirements on the CFO website

Thanks

Aaron

Take a copy of the email from the embassy to NBI they will want that.

As for CFO I believe you should have a PSA birth certificate for the children along with the passport w/visa to get them registered.
